Be sure the USB port is properly hooked up to the motherboard. If it is, then get a big enough flash drive for the OS. Install the OS on the flash drive from another computer. Turn the CF-28 off, plug the flash drive in, then turn the computer back on. If you're installing Linux, I'm pretty sure that you'll get a box with choices in it. Maneuver through the choices with the keyboard and press enter on the one that gives the title of the OS. It should install.
