It's obvious that abstinence doesn't work. Teens don't tell parents they are sexually active either. If teens can't go to their parents for birth control, they need another safe outlet to go to to ask for help. Planned Parenting agencies would love to connect teens with adoption agencies also, if that's what the pregnant person wants. I think everyone should beabstinant, but people DO have the right to all the available education. Even though condoms don't totally work, and the shot only kills HPV, not cancer itself, and the pill is incredibly unsafe and can easily cause sterility. But, they do deserve the WHOLE story, all of the facts, even the ones I just said. I agree though, Abstinance only education can't work alone. If we do that we should also show them footage of abortions as well as how to use rubbers.

But, I care more about the person being ripped to shreds all for the sake of slight psychological or vanity related reasons. I think the CHOICE is at the party or the hotel, not in the clinic. Probably 70-30 or something like that. At least that is what I have witnessed on several occasions. I would be very interested to see some compiled figures on such things. I think it would be interesting, and it might alter my perception, which could be wrong. Thanks for any help!!

I get your point, but please, never criticise the teens for getting pregnant in the first place. They do have a responcibility to good decisions, but insulting them only causes more abortions. I know you mean well, but by attacking the original fact of the pregnancy, you make the teens want to hide it. You make them want to make it "go away". It isn't crap because regular modern science deffines the baby as being human just as much as you or me.
