  • put a recirc on the BOV's too

  • I dont mean to come off as dick or anything but...

with a stroker kit to 3.2 litre and the GT28 (i assume RS) turbos and the correct set up you should have been doing well over 650 whp on 93 octane.

the car didnt misfire, so the crank angle sensor sounds fine. why even mess with the timing? leave at stock

any other upgrades? like 2.5" charge pipes? top feed injection?

i wonder why most Z owners go with the gt28 turbos. They can go as big as GT3076R. Thats easy 800 whp.

  • @Foxy300ZX throttle response is probably a reason. 2.5 i/c piping has great results. There is no point in top feed less 900whp. Based on the results i would have to say the stroker is not worth it for the 11k cost you cld build a complete 900whp motor

  • @Foxy300ZX streetability/lag and money. it is not always the part that cost you but also the supporting mods.

  • nice! what kind of a front lip is that? GTZ? STILLEN?

  • @specvtypepnoy

Bomex turbo lip mate im fairly sure, it sits a bit different to the stillen GTZ :)

  • wow that one nice z23. just a random question, I have never got my 300zx TT dyno'd or tuned before. What exactly do they do to the car?

  • You need to have some form of an air/fuel controller or have different chips to change out. Then it's just a matter of tweaking the A/F ratio and adjusting the boost.

  • i got 655rwhp on mine at only 25psi

  • Hey just a question, where can I get a Stroker kit for a 300zx just like yours?

  • It's just an Xterra crank instead of the 300Z one.

  • Oh ok. Thanks.

  • What year Xterra?

  • It's a custom crank. My mistake on saying he used an Xterra crank.

  • @THarrisIII nice z man.., question.., i have a 94 Z TT and i bought me a motor J-Spec TT Motor and sitting outside. How much the stroker kit u got on your car cost and where did u purchase it at?

  • @bigkckrva It's not my car. It belongs to Brad at ZSolutions here in Alabama. He was not happy at all with the stroker engine and when it tore up he went back to using stock engines. He has ran a best of 10.2 on a stock engine and says he is never going back to a built one.

  • @THarrisIII o ok.., so its best just to rebuild the engine (internals) without the stroker kit in it?

  • @bigkckrva That's what he did. He said the built motor was a waste and he is sticking to stockers from now on.

  • @bigkckrva That's what he does now. He said the built motor was a waste of money.

  • @FalkenWolf

JUN make one with cosworth pistons and it comes with a crank, but its 8000GBPounds, thats over 16,000 dollars plus shipping.

  • Nice Z, any more pic's/info on the build?

  • It's a Xterra crank with forged pistons. I don't know if he has pictures of the build but I will check.

  • Holy Shit I heard detonation hahahaha dont blow it up!

  • Look on ebay for a CAS they have one for 200 something bucks and it is brand new. I bought mine because I blew my engine up with a bad CAS. What are you using to tune with? I have the Zemulator with mine which works wonderful.

  • Yeah it pinged real nice on a couple of runs. The air/fuel ratio was always spot on but it would still rattle at the top. He backed the timing down several times and even around 11 degrees it would still get some knock. He is using some brand of AFC but I don't know which.
