In 1972 I sold my Guitar to fund my wedding, to my beautiful wife. Now I wish I still had it cos it was a 58 dot inlay 335. I sold it for £110 quite a bit in those days. Now worth maybe £20,000. Ah well it cant cook like my wife but it sure had some soul.

When I think classic rock n roll tone I don't think of the Gibson Les Paul, I think of the Gibson ES-335. This is a great example right here and 335s also have great body style and the feedback from the F holes can be used to one's advantage if used right.
