Amazing that she sat on the TRC and blame apartheid and yet what is happening now in 2011 is far more brutal and violent then ever experienced before. The only way South Africans judged they could get the full truth was with the promise of amnesty to those who would come forward and tell what was judged to be the full and accurate truth of what happened to those who disappeared or were found killed on both sides of Apartheid. Were it not for the amnesty, for some, the truth of what happened to their loved ones would never be known, and would be forever a hole and a question mark upon the lives of the survivors who wanted to know the truth.

I found your book to be brave but rather difficult to read for lack of the ability to engage. Your insights were very clinical and lacked, for me at least, healthy emotion. Just seemed too clinical if you will. However, it is very much a book I will recommend.
