@ foxfire401& deathsweetembrace: i myself know quite a bit of Latin and believe i can answer any Latin questions you might have if you all are interested.
@singccc1 Gothic sound was around during the medieval ages which in Europe was dominated by Christendom. So the gregorian, while purely Christian is also purely Gothic. As for a comparison think about Gothic architecture, especially the Gothic Cathedrals that held church services within their halls at one point. It fits together.
i see a boy i am looking over his grave angels are around him. his father walks away from the grave but the mother she is in the same grave for they died together only to leave behind the person she cherished least.
do you see it if you close your eyes and just listen think of nothing you might see it as i but i see dead people so you might not see it
@imac903 Oh, lol. Nah, it's no big deal, I was just kinda confused, is all. Still, though, I like the imagery you wrote for us. It's quite tangible, though not what I had immediately thought of. ^_^
@BittersweetRemix no but seriously i am really really weird not emo, i didn't even write that comment my crazy older sister did, i really need to start logging out of stuff
@imac903 Er...okay? O_o I wasn't saying anything about you being emo, lol. Or her, or whoever it was that was writing. But yeah, that might be a good idea. And don't save your passwords. My brothers do that too. They get onto my account and listen to rap and other horrible music...
@imac903 As do I. It's nothing but gang life anymore. It embodies the low-life mentality of today's society anymore, which is why I can't understand how it's so popular...Frankly, doing away with just about all of it would be a definite plus, imo.
This is so mind-blowingly gorgeous... I listened to it at Christmas and couldnt stop. It was like... being lulled into a deep trance by angels, becoming weightless, ascending into a celestial cloud of audial ecstasy. Ahh...
Pax Terra Deus aeternum, Sylvan solum vita, Sanctus aeternus terra~ arbor glorium, Alma mater vita, Sanctus aeternus terra~ Incarnatusiure, Benedictusave,Nox Arcana glorium Adliminatempus, Vestigia cantus, Nox Arcana glorium~ what does it mean in english?

@singccc1 Because of the sound, I would guess. It's heavy and dark. Makes good goth.

Veni, veni Emmanuel!
Captivum solve Israel!
Qui gemit in exilio,
Privatus Dei Filio,
Gaude, gaude,
Emmanuel Nascetur pro te, Israel.
Veni, veni o oriens! Solare nos adveniens,
Noctis depelle nebulas,
Dirasque noctis tenebras. Gaude, gaude Emmanuel Nascetur pro te, Israel.

what's the lyrics in english?
foxfire401 2 years ago
O come, O come, Emmanuel,
And ransom captive Israel,
That mourns in lonely exile here
Until the Son of God appear.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel
O come, Thou Day-spring, come and cheer
Our spirits by Thine advent here;
Disperse the gloomy clouds of night,
And deaths dark shadow put to flight.
