  • great bike.are these bits from fireblade 1000rr or

    600rr?

  • @wowerman Yes, some body parts from 1000RR and 600RR

  • Shit! What a pretty bike.

Them Spondon CBX frames are rare as tits on a catfish.

I would have had to have a 6 into 6 shorty megaphone exhaust, but that's just me.

    Can I say "wow" again?

  • Please can you take me for a drive on the back D:

  • Beautiful job there!

  • nice.....very nice!!

  • oh my! i just had an eyegasm...

  • Stunning bike! Gorgeous frame design!

  • That. is. awesome.

  • Beautiful bike...........never had a CBX but have always admired the twin shock model. The standard engine had weak con rods .......otherwise a piece of art. Well done.

  • I don't usually drool over show bikes but that is so much more than just chrome.. excellent engineering , beautiful design, CBX 6 is the most stunning motorcycle engine ever even though there are more powerful engines out there. A true show stopper!

  • we were not allowed to hear it?^^ nice bike tho

  • @spacejayNL Thanks for your comment. You can hear the bike on watch?v=GJLgOrUWlVo .Hope to record some better soundclips when the winter has gone..

  • MASTERPIECE !!!!

  • what a waste of my time 2 :13 I sat here and you never even started her up. this is one video that i will not be putting in my favourites.

    one word boring!

  • Fabulous build. You should be proud.... Awesome colour and amazing details.

  • Spondon frame is pure sex! this bike is pure porn!!!!!!! nice!

  • perfect!!!!!

  • great work ))))))))

  • Very interesting and a beautiful rendition of the CBX, thanks for sharing!

I've been the proud owner of 1981 CBX since 1989, it had less than 600 miles on it when I bought it. I'm currently restoring it to stock road ready after letting it sit for 6 years, things are coming along nicely.

  • my dream bike!!!!

  • omg thats a stunning cbx

  • a work of art

  • That's one of the best conversions I have ever seen. Thanks for posting.

  • They should put this thing in to mass production!!

  • Start the fuckin bike, I wanna cum

  • I got my 79 cbx in 10th grade. best sounding bike ever !!

    This is BEAUTIFUL !!

May I ask how much to build one ?? ball park.

    fantastic bike !!

  • @cutchya Thanks for your comment. Don't know the total cost, but frame kit costed £5000, + tax, and then you have all of the rest....

  • just asking but is that air cooled?

    btw nice bike

  • @pottupannu it's air cooled.

  • love it

  • man u killed the game on this bike

  • @byronkelley216 no joke! that's an understatement x100...

    very nice work

  • So beautiful!

  • Last year, I sold a 1979 (red) and a 1982, which I bought new. Still miss 'em; I ease my six-cylinder jones by watching CBX videos on youtube. I'll have to get another. I love my Harleys, but there's nothing in the world like the sound of a built, cammed CBX flying past you at 10,000+ RPM.

    Sigh.

  • nice bike

  • It loocks fantastic with this custom frame and six cilinder engine, but i think it will be better with dual exaust ;))

  • I was going to sell my old CBX (a red '79) until I watched some of these vids. I bought it brand new in fall of 1978 (yes, I'm that old!) and it now has only 35000 miles on it. The old girl has watched many younger, faster, more sophisticated rides come and go through the garage. Now, thanks to Youtube, she'll be around a little longer!

  • @ZX14er

If you can, just keep it. Selling the bike that has been together with you for that many years can't be easy. And 35000 miles is not much, a lot left on that one!

    Drive safe!

  • awesome look and sound ;-) wish to see and hear it live :-P

  • not many of the sixes left mate. very friggin nice

  • Sweet ! Alot stolen from a 600rr, but sweet ! But it's a shame you did not even started the engine ! :(

  • This CBX is beautiful... please please let us hear it running ???

  • beautiful

  • wow

  • Ultra !!!!!!!

  • is that a cbr600rr seat?

  • With some modifications, yes

  • AMAZING!! can't wait to get my cbx engine and build a frame round it

  • AWESOME!! Pure Beauty! :)

  • Nicest CBX I've ever seen !

  • I like how they kept with the classic candy red /black paint scheme on the tank. a little nod to the original, simply beautiful.

  • er det noen oppbygningsavgift når ein bygger sånn som dette med rammebytte osv?heit ekstremt rå forresten,er nok blant dei tøffeste ombygde sykler eg noen gang har sett

  • Ingen avgift. Må søke om rammebytte først!

  • wow, that v6 has to be real killer! Very nice bike!

  • V6?

    Wonderful bike!

  • V6? no...it's R6

  • I know but someone else said V6^^

  • simply amazing.

  • This is one of the best looking bikes I've ever seen.

  • man u did a great job with that cbx!!!

  • how much the spondon frame cost plz tell me!

  • vakker<3:D

  • What a buty, love that CBX

  • monster bike

  • Can't say the styling works for me, but I do appreciate the obvious effort you've put into the project!

  • I like how you got all that modern body work, then went right back to the old school red/black color scheme. really evocative of the original bike.

it's sheer beauty, you lucky dog.

  • Sweet Bike. With or without Cockpit faring the thing is amazing. It looks like it needs a larger diameter rear wheel but space probably wouldn't allow. Great insperation.

  • What a stunning job-how long from start to finish?

  • Build took aprox half a year

  • You really should try to do a better job and not be so sloppy. A little more effort next time, please!

  • show us what you've done..

  • I was joking, this bike is stunning! Just beautiful. sorry if you got the wrong idea.

  • oh no no.. totally cool.. this thing' s amazing. i was a little heated cuz of no booty for a few weeks. haha you know how us guys get..need that booty.

  • Absolutely gorgeous!

    how does she handle?

and i love the under tail CBR style exhaust only thing that could possible be cooler would be something like a 6 into 6 lazer coming off the tail!

  • I love how you incorporated the stock red in the new bodywork. The Spondon kit it just amazing, the welds are almost art. I had a single sider in my previous bike, awesome engineering.

Is that a Schule 6-1 system? I think I recognize the silencer ;)

    Greets,

A fellow CBX owner. (the faster grey version ;p )

  • Yes, it's a Shule.

Will take an onboard vid when I get my camera working

  • cool bike , lets hear it runing though ?

  • Nice Bike (5 Stars)

    And the Sound ?.

But without a cockpit fairing, it would be even nicer.

  • really nice and beautifull colors and a lot of effort blablabla...not that I don't appreciate this video, I just sayin' I'd appreciate is more if you'd just switch it on and let us hear the sound of the engine! qo: keep up the good work!

  • very good looking!

  • STUNNING!

  • Doesn't it run?

  • That is really REALLY nice mate! I really like how you've incorperated the origional CBX color/paint scheme to keep the new version in in touch with the origional bike!! I saw one of these at the local MOT center one day and thought it was a one off until doing further research. My dad has owned 2 CBX's and I've kinda fallen in love with them! I'd love to own one myself someday. Get a video up of it running!

  • wow what a beauty, looks like a r1 front end... its too beautiful to ride

  • Front end is GSXR 1000 2006

  • Beyond words! That is the finest modern adaptation of a CBX ever - I need to sit down after that! Must be heard - please!

  • what a beast....awesome dude!!!

  • 'kinell i'm off for a wank

  • for cryin out loud man! turn the thing on! ! ! ! lets hear the wall of 6 roar!

  • I wish i could afford a Spondon frame for my cbx :'(

    absolutely gorgeous bike though man!!

  • Vanvittig flot cykel Jan !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Lars fra Danmark

  • PLEASE GOD CAN I HAVE TOO!

  • That's fucking amazing

  • Nice, nice job. those old boys from Spondon still turn out nice Tubes.

  • Wow - maybe a tad extreme color for my own taste but building such a high quality bike around a cbx engine.... wow...

I'm not sure if there's anything on the streets that can beat that... Ducati? Blah... 2 cylinder tractor.. ;-)

    VERY VERY nicely done sir.

  • a thing of GREAT Beauty indeed well done

  • Looking good!

  • It's too beautiful to ride. That is the perfect combination....

  • que hermosa maquina!!!!falto que se escuche esa melodia del cielo que es ascelerar esa bestia

  • A work of art, makes me realise how much work I have to do just to restore mine....

  • OMG A fortune this bike.

Lets hear it and watch it roll.
