Best day of my life lol, all the buses we rode ins seats were fallin apart, some didn't even have covering, just the frame. Great time, we always asked for the radio, never got it though. D1/13
I hope you guys & gals are getting plenty of small unit close contact drills at night in shit weather, because that is where you are headed. What are you going to do when the concussion from a demolition charge blows off your starlight scopes, deafens your ears, and chokes you with dust? I hope you are going to be able to find your sector of fire when you suddenly can't see your squad leader.
What I have been hearing all through these unlawful occupations is a never ending series of small American units, a squad or less, being quickly over run all KIA. Most of the wounded are coming from the booby traps or set demolitons. Most of the KIAs are small detachments or outposts, being scragged down to the last rifleman.
@centurion180ad buddy GTFOH with your "trying to ruin your day" comments!!! you don't know what the fuck your talking about! a squad or less?! a squad in country is NO less than 10! over run by who???? over 75% of ALL casualties in both wars are from I.E.D'S its not "saving Pvt Ryan" its the roll of the dice for US soldiers. they(FUCKING HODGE) take pot shots, lob mortars and set I.E.D'S that's not honorable that's cowardice! STFU
@sgtmajormikels Is that what you said to your technical sergeant when he was trying to instruct you so that you'd be able to survive?
A squad in country is rare when it is as large as 8. Mostly a squad is however many riflemen pile into a hummer on any particular day, call it 5 or 6.
Set demolitions are what you are mislabeling as IED.
You are dealing with partizans in their own country. They are fending off an occupation, and I'd be real-real careful who you label as cowards.
@centurion180ad buddy either you're delirious or just like talking out your ass but either way you have absolutely no clue about what your saying! dude troops cant even leave the FOB(forward operating base)COP(combat outpost) unless they have a minimum of 3 vehicles!!!! that's fact...SOP! HUMVEES only seat 4 plus a turret gunner with 3 vehicles that's 15 troops and you obviously have no idea how shit works in the military!we dont just pile in a humve and leave...everything is planned out!
@sgtmajormikels now my point is valid! but don't take my word for it what do i know about the army? what do i know about about warning orders, fragmentary orders and 5 paragraph op orders....oh yeah i forgot. like you said we just pile in hummves and leave the wire! fucking clown go somewhere else and try to amuse yourself!!!
@sgtmajormikels I have viewed and payed enough attention to news reports to know what the thousands of American Army dead are all about.
Tactical organizational structure was lax and not properly trained for from the outset of these bogus invasions. GIs have payed for these mistakes with their lives, over & over.
What you are telling me is that mechanized columns have been tightened up, but that is not at the roots of the problems that are getting you killed out there.
Explosive concussion will screw up your L.I. goggles or whatever the Hell name you call those things, batteries run out usually just when you don’t have time to replace them, or Fog of War will simply result in Blue on Blue which is more common at night called Jitter Fire.
word; shout out to echol thats crazy! Thas the best company ha; we got to do things alot of companies didnt. Is DS Quiros still there, DS Drake or DS Ricket. & @Pete500001, dont hate man. If you want to put it that way, we're putting our life on the line to defend yours & your freedom, sucker that. Hooah.
