I am playing this game right now as well, and I am at the Village of Dali now going into Lindblum. The story does get interesting later on. Oh, be sure to steal from bosses because they may have weapons, armor, accessories, or rare healing items.

Yo Darkkefka, somewhere later on in the game, you will go into a place where you have to use your weakest weapon. I won't tell you where it is, you will have to figure that out on your own.

dk, you can multi-target spells by pressing R1. Then you could heal all allies at once or cast an offensive spell against all enemies.

Pardon the spoiler, but in the Kitchen, you'll see a future character. It kind of feels like a random cameo.

It sucks that Steiner comes off more the comic relief. But at least he has a few badass moments.

Turning the wheel is just a random Easter egg.

Why did I think it was Mendo?

If you kill everyone but Garnet in the Bomb fight, all that changes is Steiner says "Princess" and you miss what's left of the dialog.

also, those abilities are like power-ups. Bug Killer, you get more damage on bugs. abilities like Auto-Haste, and Auto-Regen are gain that way as well. you get abilities from accessories and swords. etc.

In Places in the town areas, make sure you look all around the edge, you missed alot. in part 1. when you see the "!" mark, that means an item. also, steal from all bosses if you can. they have rare items, that are extremely hard to get in the later game. steal as much as you can.

Those Magic Stones are Abilities Stones just think of FFX of the Grid System, each time you lvl up you'll get more the best of the Abilities Stones are AP Lvl Up and Lvl Up comes quite handy during the early stages. And the Knight's Abilities are passive ones that do more damage against enemies like Bird Slayer more damage to Bird type monsters, YOU need to use the Bug or Plant Slayer soon. Also STEAL each time when in a boss fight, and you forgot the Elixir.

@Darkkefka R1 to hit multiple targets w/ magic. When you get to the world map, search every forest for friendly monsters (they'll usually be the first ones to encounter) the first one might be on the grass though. Vivi's focus will come in handy in Black Waltz fights. Haha, good luck summoning.

@Darkkefka Hey DK, good job so far, though you missed a few items in the castle. Anyway, you shouldn't waste potions on Cinna, he's pretty much useless. Use him to steal and keep him in the back row for future battles. Also, a minor note, the select button lets you know what the abilities do like "Bird Killer" you want most of these abilities equipped. Weapons, armor, and accessories teach you all the abilities so master the ability on that item to move on. Good luck DK!

During the fight sequence you need to impress 100 nobles. This is easier if in the battle before all participants (including on the opposite side) use their SFX move. This gets you a moonstone from Brathe

Finally you need to steal everything from every boss you encounter. You’ll know when you’ve done this when it says “has nothing” instead of “couldn’t steal”

Things you’ve missed so far other than the hundreds of stuff on the ground.

Firstly as Vivi you didn’t do the jump rope mini game. Eventually you’ll have to do it 1000 in a row without failing but you need about 25 to begin with to unlock a Mognet letter

If you miss even one of these during the entire game you failed the Mognet side quest (talk to save moogles and select Mognet to deliver and receive new mail.

@AnimeJunkie1997 You need to jump 50 times to get the letter. And he doesn't have to do 1000, you just get a key item.

And if you miss any letters you don't fail the Mognet sidequest, you just have to start it in Disc 4 rather than Disc 3.

1.Kill boss that has garnet trapped dont need to steal.

2.Get bronze gloves in 1st room you control Zidane after you kill boss they will teach antibody and they r good

3.You will fight Baku again. In the room to the left there is a rubber helm which cuts lightning damage in half got it?- good

4. Finally remember to steal iron helm from plant brain. Hope this helps with next recording session!

That 17 is his magic stones. And you learn abilities from the equipment that you have on via the AP you get in battles. Once you get and learn abilities from your equipment, you use those magic stones to equip abilities. And as you can expect, different skills require different amounts of AP for you to learn them. Like for example, Level Up is an ability that you can learn an it increases experience gained by 50%. It takes 70 AP to learn and 3 MS to equip, and you would have 10 MS left over.

Someone already told you but you can do AoE white/black magic with Garnet and Vivi by pressing R1 when targetting. Doesn't work with every spell but for cure/cura/curaga and the elemental spells like fire/water/thunder it does.

There where 8 Pluto knights (or 10) which you need to sent to duty. If you find them all, youll get an elixir from the knight at the stairs when you talk to him twice

so after the next mini boss youll eventually fight ANOTHER mini boss. Steal from that one until you get a mage masher (really good weapon for zidane)

By the way1 You can target the entire party with your cure spells! Just push back like in FF4 to target everyone. Not all spells can do it though. I can't for the life of me remember if black magic can target a group...haven't played this game in a few years!

It doesn't matter because later on in the game he can get everything he needs. Just so you don't forget it like i did: Craft all weapons for Zidane so you have all abilities. I forgot one early and wasn't able to get it later...

As far as I can remember, you get an Elixir if you find all lazy soldiers or something like that. Never bothered with that one. :P
