  • I like how these guys get to use an empty room at the UN and then they get to justify their junket to New York.

    Anyone check their reciepts?

The organization couldnt get an actual aboriginal Hawai'i to go on the junket?

  • Free Tibet!1

  • The only countries that voted against the decleration on the rights of indigenous people were USA, Canada, New Zealand and Australia since then Australia and Canada have decided to support it leaving only USA and New Zealand against it. Why? because it gives us the right of self determination in the many forms it can take. Self determination is a right for the indigenous of Hawaii and Aoteroa

  • I don't really understand these independent movements. It's like they want to become free, but nobody has a plan after/if they become free. No one is answering my questions when I comment on these types of videos!!!

  • HOW DOES A REPRESENTITIVE FROM THE HAWAIIAN KINGDOM [IN OPPOSITION TO A BILL] GET PLACEMENT ON THE AGENDA? A REFUSAL TO PRESENT/HEAR BOTH SIDES IS A VIOLATION OF 'FREEDOM OF SPEECH' -IS IT NOT ? and WHY is LINGLE able to interject comments ? LET'S ALL communicate to CONGRESS [via writing to our SENATORS/CONGRESSMEN] "NO" on S147 and LETS BE HEARD at the next UN Meeting on Indigenous Issues! -KK

  • Hmmm, indipendent Hawaii, great idea, but one must ask, if it was to become indipendt, where would it gets its military from, and if not, who would defend, Relations witht the US would be sour to say the least.

  • You will live to see Hawaiian Independence. The center cannot hold much longer.

  • Look, is there any reason Hawai'i should be a part of the US? How about a referendum? Frankly, simply from an economic standpoint, the US benefits if Hawai'i cecedes. Hawai'i is a net importer of federal tax dollars. Anyway, if the Hawaiians can make a go of it, good for them. And, if not, they'll soon find that they've gone from 8.99 for a gallon of milk (Sun Mart) to 12.99 or more. What's the harm in letting them decide?

  • yes, we would have to rethink our ways of life, too, right? no need to import the majority of our food to have a standard American diet. these islands supported hundreds of thousands sustainably before America and it can after America deoccupies.
