pigs actually do have necks..i used to hunt them, and the trick was to shoot them in the head without them knowing you're there, then immediately bleed them by slicing their throat...i still don't eat pork because it's nasty;however, if i was to eat it it would definitely be wild pigs who eat acorns and root vegetables..definitely domestic swine is fully disgusting though

@4K4K1K0 Luke 11:38-41 where this is often quoted from Jesus is talking about hand washing. The Rabbis believed otherwise clean meat was unclean to eat if you didn't wash your hands properly. Acts 11:5-18 is about people, not food. Jews didn't go into the homes of Romans because they were pagans and considered unclean. The vision of the unclean animals was how God asked Peter to go into the home of the Roman who would become filled with God's spirit and become a child of God.

You don't get it from consuming pork, retard. The reason for Muslims and Jews not comsuming pork is because of trichinosis, which is almost nonexistant when treated properly. Jews were also not allowed to eat shellfish. These 'laws' come from a time when these were real health concerns, and god had nothing to do with it.

Why didnt Jesus send the disciples to the Gentiles or the Samaritans? A Gentile is not anyone who is not a Jew. The Samaritans were a race that resulted from intermarrieage between Jews and Gentiles after the old testament captives (see 2 Kings 17:24) Jesus asked his disciples to go only to the Jews because he came first to Jews (Romans 1:16)

Akonipartz You have well put things clear that Jesus followed the Law revealed to Moses but often violated the ceremonial law of the Pharisees These are due to the corrupted nature and hypocrisy of the Pharisees and Teachers of the law as mentioned in Matthew 23:13-36. Jesus was not sent but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel ( Matthew 10:5-6 ) His mission was to make things straight and to give warning to the true teaching of Moses.

Some of those on the crowd are experts at telling others what to do, but they missed the central point of Gods laws themselves, Jesus made it clear, however, that obeying Gods laws is more important than explaining them. The Pharisees were exacting and scrupulous in their attempts to follow their laws. The Pharisees weakness was that they were content to obey the laws outwardly without allowing God to change their hearts or attitudes.
