  • I ride a suzuki gixxer 600 and many HD bros wave (acknowledge me) and I do the same... Mutual respect. Lots of times you just nod your head once for acknowledgment and that way you keep your hands on the bars, like when turning... Once i get my kitchen remodeled, I'll be getting me a HD cruiser (black and chrome)- a deal I made with the "boss" aka wife. That way she'll be off my back and I'll be cruisin'.

  • i live in califronia. i have a scooter and i get waves. everyone that i see does a low flat handed wave. like the two fingers low but open flat handed.

  • I live in California. Most bikers wave at each other no matter what bike you ride... It's actually really nice. Especially when you're riding out to Lake Henshaw or Julian, riding out Palomar mountain... Etc. I have family out in Indiana.. Idk what part you're from but everyone waves out there in general! Lol I'll be out front of my aunts house riding a skateboard or something and people will wave at me... They don't know me... It's just nice to do, which is not bad at all! Cool video

  • I ride a 50cc scooter, I do the full on look forward, and two fingers down wave. Had a ZX-14 wave back once, then he realized what he was waving at.

  • I ride a Harley, and find most Harley riders will initiate and or return, but rarely receive a wave or response from other bikes. I have to admit that with all bikes other than Harleys, I extend a nod rather than the 'wave'. Not trying to be exclusive, just don't want to look like an ass when not acknowledged. I agree with most of the comments here, ignorance is ignorance regardless of the brand, and we're all connected by the 2 wheels, from scoots to Road Kings. Ride safe, enjoy life!

  • I don't speak for anyone else but me. I ride a Harley and I for one don't care what you ride...as long as you ride. Respect is given until respect is not returned. At times, I do not wave back, but I do give a head nod or some type of acknowlegement.

  • I have the opposite experience, as a Harley rider, it seems sport bike owners NEVER wave at me. I could care less though, i'll wave at anybody on a bike (but not goldwings, I can't respect a bike with reverse, and they do that wave up here too, makes me sick). Generalizing Harley riders as those who don't wave is ignorant, those kind of people exist with every kind of bike

  • Electra glide

  • i ride a kymco scooter, i do love the respect riders have for all riders, sport bike, cruisers, scooters, etc, i do a low open palm when a Harley passes me, respect all around.

  • I ride a Harley and many times I find myself just giving a nod of the head and I'll give one to anyone on two wheels regardless of make or model.

  • @BloodTar Funny comment. I went for a 8 hour drive with my Vstrom today, saw probably 40-50 motorcycles, 10-12 Harleys, NOT A FUCKING harley waved me back. They didn't see me? Fuck that, talk about arrogance. So to me after 15+ years of driving honda, yamaha, suzuki, etc I realized that there are two type of motorcycles on the road, Harleys and the rest. A vast majority of the harley owners seem to think that they are the chose people or something. That is really sad.

  • @mmodnao

Those Harley riders you met on the road were idiots. Like I said, I've ridden a Harley for years and I'll acknowledge anyone on two wheels that I meet on the road. Safe ridin' to ya.

  • Gee I don't know, should I give you 2 fingers out or 2 thumbs up ! Both - 2+2 !!

  • I don't ride yet, but I like the two fingers down wave. It looks cool.

  • i ride a majesty 400 (maxi scooter) i get waves all the time lol

  • How bout...."Semper F'n Fi!"

  • In Aussie we don't wave, we nod. Except for Harley riders. they don't wave or nod. ignorant pricks.lol

  • thank you for the video!

  • i got my first wave yesterday i bought my first bike i wanted a cruiser but im a poor country boy so i took what i could get its a 1988 xt600 enduro and i love it i was hoping harley guys etc. would acknowledge me on the rode and they did so it felt really good, To me it doesnt matter what kinda bike you have or like as long as you are riding ive waited all my life for a bike im 30 yrs old now, it may not be the greatest bike but im happy i got one finally and im out there havin fun!
