  • you can read. not everyone. would 2178 people read my review. doubtful.

  • I have an idea. Why not post a blog instead of video of you reading it. I don't get it. We can read.

  • great review! As I watched the doc I looked on shocked at the lack of cleanliness and yet I too want to eat there... Go figure....

  • Good review and I have to agree with you about having more respect for less polite people as I get older. I have worked selling food items to restaurants for almost 30 years and believe me, I am not nearly as nice as I used to be. I have also seen the kitchens in some really, really nasty establishments and the old Shopsin's location wouldn't even crack the top 20 in terms of being unclean.

I too am fascinated by this guy and his philosophy on the business.

  • nice review thank you very much!

  • I this idiot reading off his computer screen??

  • This documentary is about New York restaurateur Kenny Shopsin and his family. They own a restaurant called Shopsins, a neighborhood institution. The documentary follows them as they change locations for the first time in 33 years.

  • Loved the show, especially the end. btw, his wife died a few years back.
