Creationist, are confused by science so instead of trying to figure it out, they want a more simplistic answer. And so to not feel dumb, because evolution is too confusing, it can't be true. my science class gave us a choice to learn evolution or be excused and do an alternative assignment.

That way students CHOSE to learn of Darwin. No one in my class ever signed to be excused.

Well, let's see. Evolution is Science so it belongs in a Science class. ID or Creationism is not Science so it has no place in a Science class. Maybe in a Theology class.

ID/Creationism is not Science. We can't observe or test a designer or god. Just like Football is not baseball. First organism appearing is Abiogenesis, not Evolution.

@DeathBringer9000 evolution cannot be paired with "random spawning". Evolution is the slow process of natural selection of existing organisms based on minute allelic variations in the genome. Evolution is elegant and scientists would be glad to throw it out if it could be disproved...but despite centuries of scientific inquiry, that has yet to happen. ID is closer to random spawning, the appearance of creatures unrelated to their environment. Are museums filled with designer's mistakes?

Science has done lots of discoveries and one of them is: the world is 4,7 bllion years old. this isnt proven by carbon dating method: but with 14 other methods who go further back in time: bible teaches: do everything in this book and u will be blessed. do some things not and u will be cursed. but read also Deuteronomy 27:26 Cursed EVERYONE who does not Uphold EVERYTHING written in this book U cant uphold bible

why?

because evolution is based upon DNA-proof.

Creationism is based upon a book disproven by tests u can repeat in a laboratory and DNA codes who testify that all apes and humans have a common ancestor.

also U can see that the assumption "the bible is true", based upon a book is not very strong...

telling the Bible is true is misleading yourselves.

But God is greater than books: read the bhagavad gita.

it will clear up a lot of mess caused by false assumptions.

I too was amazed when I was at a local library where there was evolution based books where the creationist books are..in the biology section!

But there was no alchemy amongst the chemistry books.
