Hi Steve,

A good way to join mitred boxes like this, is to lay the pieces down in sequence, on a wide piece of masking or duct tape. Apply the glue in the joints, then fold the job up, and set it on a flat surface to dry. You could include the base too, As long as you previously sized it.
