I still shiver when I think of the cold at the feeding station - it was so hard to get going afterwards that I wished we hadn't stopped! It certainly wasn't worth queueing all that time for a bit of cuppasoup. I'll be taking my own flask of soup this year!

Train from Darsham is a good option for returning to London - book now and it's only £6!
Filthy weather. Fine when cycling, but froze at the feeding station and really struggled to get going again. Died a death over the last 30km or so. Made it there around quarter past six. Buses didn't leave till the afternoon, and it was freezing. My recommendation is to take the train back.
