I'm 15 (well in two days anyways), and when I go to MAC (in Norway) they're really nice and helpful. I rarely go to MAC without buying something.. unless I'm broke. Then I usually don't go shopping at all. PS. MAC is about double the price where I live, so American girls have no right to complain about the price!

My first time at MAC was a good experience I haven't been back, I only bought one item but the lady was really nice to me. Suggesting what I was looking for.
........BUT the lady was doing my makeup and she did two different eye looks on each eye, and i didnt even realize but then i went to the bathroom and washed it off.. hahahha everyone was looking at my so weird.

wow.. those mac lip glosses don't even come with the nice brush that some of the lip glosses (i think from Stila but not completely sure:p) come with :( i was so excited to get one but... i decided against it because of the applicator

There really quite rude there, if there products weren't so good i would probably never go back in. I have one girl who is always very nice to me, but the others pretty much ignore alot of the younger people and the older people to actually. My mum seriously hates the store because there so rude and won't even go in.
Not to be the buzz kill.... but my sister has worked at MAC for 3 years and when a 15 year old girl walks into MAC more than often they just look at everything, and leave.. or buy 1 product. They'll ask for their eyes to be done (which is free) and leave without buying a single product, and for a MAC employee it is extremely frustrating to blow energy on a 15 year old girl and in the end sell nothing. Not to say that all 15 year olds aren't going to buy anything but 9 out of 10 don't.
people are allowed to go and try out things and have a look without buying anything, its not a rule that when you go into mac you have to buy something...im just saying x

It isn't causing anybody any trouble and the point of stores is that you can decide whether you like products before you buy them, unlike online.

The people at my local MAC counter are really sweet to me. They're very helpful and always willing to answer my questions, unless they're VERY busy, then they can get somewhat rude but it's totally understandable. This one chick at my counter always helps me out and she's the sweetest girl everr! I love how she remembers me too, it makes you feel like she cares about her customers :)

@bellabamba09 me too! the first time i went in i wanted to start wearing undereye concealer and this woman who had horribly cakey foundation on put the pro longwear concealer on me soooooo badly! the most recent time i've been there my mom was asking a question and the woman started talking over her and interrupting my mom! wtf?! and they usually don't even do their own makeup well and it looks way overdone.

G YES! ugh i went to get my friend a present and i wanted a good lid color for her to like wear to school and i gave her my friends hair and eye color, undertown, and skin color and. then shes like really anyone of these so then i told her i would look around and she left thank god like i know im13 but COME ON it was bitchy i wasnt asking for her tob like extremely nice but could b more helpful but then another helped me out and was better so it depends on the people;)

i remember when i was 12 and the mac ladies thought i was 15, so they kept asking me if i wanted to try anything . . . then i told them i was 12 and just wanted to look and they left me alone :)

i don't have a MAC around were i live , but if i find one at another mall i'm deffiantly gonna go in there and see how they are. people in stores like ulta are pretty nice to me even though i'm young i buy alot of nail polish there and they were really helpful when i was searching for the O.P.I shatters (: so go there :P

wow.. those mac lip glosses don't even come with the nice brush that some of the lip glosses (i think from Stila but not completely sure:p) come with :( i was so excited to get one but... i decided against it because of the applicator
think of that when you guys are buying lip gloss! :D

Maybe it's just me but when I go to my Mack counter I usually get on really well with the shop assistants and I'm only 14 I usually stay chatting to them lol but I do know what you mean I have had experiences like that when people are really rude :/

There really quite rude there, if there products weren't so good i would probably never go back in. I have one girl who is always very nice to me, but the others pretty much ignore alot of the younger people and the older people to actually. My mum seriously hates the store because there so rude and won't even go in.

Not to be the buzz kill.... but my sister has worked at MAC for 3 years and when a 15 year old girl walks into MAC more than often they just look at everything, and leave.. or buy 1 product. They'll ask for their eyes to be done (which is free) and leave without buying a single product, and for a MAC employee it is extremely frustrating to blow energy on a 15 year old girl and in the end sell nothing. Not to say that all 15 year olds aren't going to buy anything but 9 out of 10 don't.

It isn't causing anybody any trouble and the point of stores is that you can decide whether you like products before you buy them, unlike online.

has anyone realized tht the mac COUNTER girls are wayyy nicer thn the mac STORE girls? Im fifteen and ive been in the store a few times... never bought anything... they don't even listen to me when i ask for help... they just ignore me... luckily we have a counter and a store at my mall!

I know right mac is so rude to some off the girls who want to purchase there products if I worked there I would be convincing people to buy the makeup not being mean and all rude one time I wanted a lipgloss and i went up to her and said can i get this lipgloss in this color and shes like hold on so I ended up waiting 45 minutes and there was no one else there and I just left after that i got so mad

The people at my local MAC counter are really sweet to me. They're very helpful and always willing to answer my questions, unless they're VERY busy, then they can get somewhat rude but it's totally understandable. This one chick at my counter always helps me out and she's the sweetest girl everr! I love how she remembers me too, it makes you feel like she cares about her customers :)
