go cards. seriously. im not going to lie... in this draft we could have got 5 pro bowlers.. dan williams with darnell is going to be unstoppable... daryl is going to replace dansby. except he is faster.. andre roberts with fitzy could truly shine in a couple of years with fitz and breaston.. shoefield is going to be good considering the only reason he was no longer a first round draft pick was because of his injury.... and skelton looks amazing... cards fans.. be optomistic..we do this together

CARDS!!! We just got a whole lot better defensively! We've really added speed and knowledge to the defense this offseason. Our struggles have been due to using 4-3 personnel for the 3-4. We're slowly building the 3-4 and it just took a major leap if the two guys show up!!!

He had the best footwork of all linebackers at the combine. Smooth and effortless. My only concern is his tackling. Too many arm tackles. You try to arm tackle a RB, WR or a TE in the NFL, they'll leave you in the dust. He just needs to be more physical I think. I wanna see some helmet to helmet shit you know what I mean? I like what I see so far. He's gonna be a good player.

@grimmlock42 really? Washington's best feature is how physical he is. He's the definition of a north-south player. He throws his body out there all the time. These aren't the greatest highlights of him, but watch him against Utah, Air Force, Clemson or UVA and you'll fall in love with him.

He's known for being the only player in college football to have caught CJ Spiller from behind. That's game speed.

Much fast and athletic then Spike and McClain are on film from what I've seen. Also much more physical. He's gotta lower his base abit too but he's still more fundamentally sound then the other5 two ILBs projected to go first...

DAryl Washington is 6'3 225 and runs a 4.6.....

And Washington isnt even close to the player than Weatherspoon is.....

I watched this game live and from a few plays watching I knew he would be drafted. After watching this clip though I realize that he plays better than Rolondo McClain. He's not faster stronger and more athletic than Rolondo but Daryl gets the job done and plays with alot of intelligence and great instincts. I'm just not big on upside like some other people when they see a player they are like man when he has X and Y he's a pro bowler. I think that's a risky method for drafting.

He's a lot faster and more athletic than McClain, but he's not as big. He's by far the most athletic LB in the draft though. He runs a 4.45 and has a 39 inch vertical. I think he's going to b a better pro than Jerry Hughes, he's impressed me a lot all year.
