Just a little tip, if you put the camera to the side you get better sound because the mic doesnt get hit with exhaust and cause that 'wind' noise. And the exhaust doesnt spray your camera with a bunch of condensation :P

Don't these Suburbans have single cats? 'Cause our '08 Chevy with the 4.3L V6 has dual cats bolted directly to the exhaust manifolds and a single exhaust system from the factory and sounds similar to this.

@SeaDollarsBertram nope, all Vortec 350 equiped pickups and Suburbans have 2" dual exhaust with cats on each pipe, it's dual into the muffler and a single tailpipe out of the muffler, i own a 99 Suburban and that's how mine is but i spliced a Magnaflow where the stock muffler was, flows much better

that muffler must be rusted out inside, my 99 Suburban has 98,000 miles and it was dead silent, not that loud, i put a Magnaflow where the stock muffler was and it's a good bit louder but still pretty quiet, that's either not stock or rusted out, stock in proper condition is much quieter than that

@l337pwnage i don't think so, it's louder now that some of the packing in the muffler has burned but i think the cats are still good because it doesn't bog down as if the cats are clogged

i'm gonna be putting on headers and 2.5" duals anyways so i'll be getting rid of them anyways so i'm leaving them for now until i change them or they cause a problem

Condensation happens most of the time and for the most part it is harmless. And it is for sure not gas.

its very slightly hesitating to start. try cleaning the injectors (by using a fuel additive) and giving it new spark plugs and it will start perfect.

tip for ya when your doing exhaust clips. Set the camera further back from the pipes. It doesn't distort the sound.
