Bloody hell, why are so many people so negative about Crystal Dynamics "haters"??? Personally, I think a good game isn't about good graphics, its about how much effort went into programming etc. Just because a game looks extremely realistic doesn't mean its good, and Crystal Dynamics focus too much on the graphics.

A good game is fun to play, addictive and tricky. Graphics are important, but not as important as these features.

Go ahead, but to me it's like cover songs. If you like the original song, it is really REALLY rare that you like the cover version.

People who like liked the TR Anniversary, i mean REALLY liked it, are people who first played TR Legend, and suddenly started to be "fans of the series" and then tried to play the originals (classics) and noticed how carp they are. Then TRA came and they were like WOW; I love this game!!!

None of the original fans that i know liked TRA.

@haistaja You're full of shit, you know that? I have been playing Tomb Raider for thirteen years and I love the old ones and the new ones. The classics are just classics - unchangeable by time, but the newer ones are also great just a different experience and you seriously can't compare the latter to the former since there is 15 years worth of technological development in between TR1 and now TR9 coming out.

Im gonna comment this myself now:

This is how it happens if it is realistic; if you shoot a guy in the head once with Desert Ranger, he dies. If you shoot a bear in the head once with Desert Ranger, it dies.

This goes with wolves, bats, panthers etc. I dont know what happens if you shoot a T-Rex in the head with Desert Ranger tho.

So, AoD was realistic.

I played the classics when I was 3 actually. (Of course when a tiger pops up I'd get my parents/uncle to shoot it for me.) But TR has been with me for a looong time. XD

I played TR2, but I was scared as crap of the tigers and enemies. I'd press escape as soon as I got scared and hand it to a grown up, I made them kill it and then I'd keep playing. XD In the process the adult would occasionally get addicted and not let me back on for a while.)
