I don't think so, because with k98 you must aim right first time, because the reloading is too slow and the enemy will kill you.

thats because it's the old version of DOD V1.3 by the looks of it

actually, there is plenty of recoil from the bar in this video. if you use the weapon a lot and are good enough, you will learn to control the recoil with no problem.

also, a lot of the time he is crouching when he makes the kills with the bar, this is because it reduces the recoil and makes it easier to hit than when standing up.

and yes, it is regular DoD 1.3, not DoD:SOURCE, but that doesnt meant there is no recoil in reg DoD.
