Decent enough, but too close to counter strike right now for my tastes.

Once they get some more game modes running (or even respawns), I'll give it another try. Something like the team leader mode from Rainbow Six Vegas 2 or maybe a VIP mode would be pretty slick.

Not sure about you but I don't play on servers where you get 50 clips for every weapon. Max I've seen is 3-4... so if you're reloading constantly enjoy having no ammo very fast.

If you reload you lose every remaining bullet in the clip, as the game assumes you toss it away.

You have to already own a game like counter strike source, Team Fortress 2, Half Life 2, etc. Anything made on the source engine. Then you just download and install it from the neotokyo website.

You have to have a Steam account as well.

I'd say the recon was pretty good. The most prominent mistake most recons now do (me included) is stick around for too long, "Maybe I'll get lucky and take him out!" The other times, there aren't any places to escape. This is the only map with the ducts. I only know of one single other map with a recon only area.

Note that he got into a direct firefight and was nearly killed.

Man, supports don't go down like that. If that was me as the support? He'd be dead. Instantly. Thermal can see the silhouette of them, as an absence of heat, and if (this is if the support is good) he sees that silhouette, he normally unloads with something like the m41. Which is like a two-hit-kill, on a recon.

I actually think all the guns are fine and fitting to their class and design. Only the pump shotty has some MAJOR issues. You have a greater chance of killing yourself from ricochet rather than killing someone else. The other weapons are fantastic if you know how to shoot them right. :)

I've tested it with a friend, I've pumped him full of lead from long range and medium range with the starter smg thing at rank 1 (thats a stupid idea, hurr ranks for 4 beta weps) It didnt kill him. It's only killed him at close range.

I keep on having this vision that I am a recon and am having an assault chase me down, so I hide behind the corner at 0:42 and right before he throws a grenade at me I lay down a detpack and right as the grenade explodes I stealth (to cover the bbbzzztt) and run to the other side (to avoid the blast) and right as he turns around the corner to see if Im dead *BAM* the detpack goes off. Can't wait for this game!
