I think Janet is the best female artist of all time; however, there are many possibilities as to why her albums aren't selling:

1. Superbowl incindent

2. The music scene has changed. Janet is no longer in her element amongst today's artists.

3. Her music is no longer of the inspirational kind. Remember Rhythm Nation, Control, The Velvet Rope; all these albums contained personal aspirations, emotions, and accomplishments that many people can relate to. Now her music is primarily about sex.
