@tallliza you lack in wisdom friend. If you had known anything about my lord then you wouldn't have said that Jesus is a liar.Go through the bible for all his plans and even after tat if you fail to understand christ then you should first ask for god's wisdom and knowledge in Jesus name..
@tallliza When God said, "make an ark of gopher wood..." He was not talking to you. When Jesus said, "Anything 'you' ask in my name..." he was not talking to anyone per se. Those concerned are at a certain level of spiritual growth that they were called 'friends' and not only that, he said that 'those things' were bound to come. Faith is the subject here, and it's more than what people used to understand about it.

@tallliza the only way you can know for sure is to pray it by yourself, you cannot look at someone else's life and claim it as yours... but do not ask for stupid thing like "kill me immediately", that will not work, because He loves you enough to let you live. Seek Him and you will find Him!

@tallliza yes, but it doesn't mean that Jesus is a liar as you may think, because you do not know for sure, you can only know whether He tells the truth or not by testing it by yourself.

And although over the centuries many sincere believers, have asked for many things, in Jesus name, you can`t give me ONE exemple. means that those promises are EMPTY words and that Jesus is a liar.
Dear @tallliza, so this is my testimony, whether you believe or not. When I was 14 years old, and I lived in Vietnam. You know, many people in Vietnam want to go to America, but they can only go if they have close relatives to sponsor them or have a lot of money to send their children study abroad. My family had neither of them. One time I prayed to God that I could come to the US to study, even though I had no idea how it could happen.
@tallliza at the time there was a friend who was a pastor of a Vietnamese church in America, he could have asked many other pastors, but he asked my dad if he wanted to come to pastor the church, because he had to move to another state. The paper process was challenging, but after three years, my family and I came to America, just like I had asked God in Jesus' name.
You may say it was just coincidence, but to me it was a miracle that we are able to be here in America.

I remember seeing Don Moen in Seattle back in the 90's at a conference. One of the best worship leaders I have ever heard.
