The Cult made alot of great singles. They've always been an awesome live band, even today. It was a shame that they couldn't go back to their roots (ie alternative post punk rock) with Ceremony.

I usually go with the rock critics. But The Cult have always been underrated. And bands like U2 massively overrated.

These guys played at one of my local nightclubs in my hometown of Surfers paradise in Australia back in 1988! Man were they FUCKING LOUD! I was standing at the very back of the club 100 feet away because i wasn't pissed enough yet to handle the massive volume and i remember my shirt was flapping/jumping from the audio shock waves emitted from the left side 25 feet tall pyramid of speakers! The club only handles 2000 people max. My ears were ringing for a week! One of the Best Rock bands ever..
