  • oh no Joscelyn goes tomorrow :(

  • nakakaawa noh? huhuhu can you believe i was the one who gave gabbie her shots? but i only gave her 2. one was a combination of dtap, ipv, hib and the other was pcv then orAL na rotavirus. i was shaking and holding back the tears!!! stressful magung baby LOL

  • @babybuchug

Oo nga eh. I would never have been able to do it myself. Its ok though, kasi they wont remember! Im dreading the time when she's older at puede na sha umiyak, "mommy!" So sad... =) Hehe.

  • awww i dont like seeing her in pain,i couldnt watch the entire video...i wanted to take those needles and inject the nurse lol

  • @MommiesWorld

LOL. Imagine.... Hahhaha I wanted to knock her out.

  • @MommiesWorld Why would you want to do somnething like that to the nurse? The nurse isn't doing anything wrong, would you rather the baby suffer from a disease? the few seconds of minor discomfort for the child is nothing, the vaccine is giving a boost to the child's immune sytem.

Put your emotions and motherly instincts aside, vsccines do serve a purpose, uese your common sense when it comes to this.

  • @AAA4509 don't tell me to use my common sense when it comes to a child getting their vaccines...I was joking of course i know its needed I have 2 kids i've gone through this before and I know what it's for and the importance of it,No i don't like seeing any child in pain but like i said I know the outcome is better with them having it done then not having it done....(lol means laugh out loud as in joke)

  • @MommiesWorld Ok, you were being facetious about the needle comment, that's fine, there are alot of anti -vaccine loonies out here, or armchair experts who trash the doctor or nurse because of the way they administer the shots.

Once again your concerns about the pain is much ado about nothing, it's minimul and over in a few seconds, a small price to pay compared to the alternative.

  • @MommiesWorld So you were being facetious, fine, once again the pain is very brief, most kids stop crying as soon as it's over after you put a pacifier in their mouth and it's forgotten about.

There are alot of anti-vaccine, anti science crackpots out here.

  • Omg that nurse knew she coulda went faster making the poor baby suffer like that that just grinds my bones ahhh!!

but other then the nurse going super slow she did well!!

    Congrats

  • @haitianbeauty92

I think she coulda gone a wee bit faster too, but what can I say?

    Yeah she did great! LOL.

    Thanks!

  • aww no ): Makes me dread for when my Sophie has to go in next month for her's..): Did you get her baby tyleno after she got the shots? Ive been told that you should??

  • @bethcyndal123

Because every baby reacts differently to the vaccines and each vaccine has different side effects; i was told to give tylenol only if her temp exceeded 100.4. Tylenol makes the babies sleepy so it might interfere with feedings. I'm sure whatever you decide to do will be right for you and Miss Sophie. =)

  • Awwww.. So sad! Makes me wanna cry! Andre goes for his tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it.. awwwww poor babies! A shot in the thigh? OuCh! Did she have any negative side effects?

  • @lsruffin

I know right. I almost couldnt keep it together. Haha. No Negative side effects here. She was just a little cranky and wanted to be held all the time, but since the injection sites were sore, she would freak out if we accidentally touched them. When I was working at the Pediatricians office, we only used to give 5 in total. 1 oral and 4 injections. Now they do 6 total. Not Looking forward to the next series.
