thx that was really helpful now i just need to find a lhs that has the os 18 cvr. just one last question which is did you have to cut the pilot shaft? or did you install it with the stock gear case and other parts? (sry im kinda new to rebuilding rc cars)

@thecool11223344 I guess the reason this truck is higher is because the shocks are a bit longer than the stock shocks , the rims are made by NEW ERA PRODUCTS and the engine is an OS 18 CVR .

i dunno y all u people just put in .18 engines... i got a .32 axis engine. in my rc10gt.. wheelies none stop,,, u can buy a engine mount for big blocks on the net thats made for the rc10gt $30

@hopcup1 I had a schumacher nitro 10 stadium truck with a .21 engine and it was fast but a friend of mine beat me with an rc10gt with the same engine that i have on my truck right now , i saw that kit that you are talking about made by new era that allows you to install big blocks engines on the rc10gt but my truck is a shelf queeen and i don't realy drive it and in top of that all my other rc vehicles are electric , all i need to get more speed is just ad more voltage .

@tigger00025 the easyist way to know is the rc10gt has 1 chasi and the rc10gt2 has 2 a aluminum one and a smaller plastic one that holds down the servos

@drtrider68 OS engines are the best , they are easy to tune and they are very reliable but you are going to have a hard time keeping the front tires down on the ground .

@KeithWasHere1 Hi , well i didn't spend $1,500.00 bucks on this truck in one shot , it took me almost 3 years to put this truck together plus some of the hobby shops that i was using to order the metal part they weren't that reliable to get the parts in . I know those european gasoline rc vehicles are cool but i gave up fuel powered rc for good , this rc10gt is my last nitro vehicle , all my other rc vehicles are electric or converted in to electric .

@punmaxxrcfx i dont blame you fuel power cars can be a PITA, i did find one engine out of a Ryobi Leaf blower that is amazing ,great power,very little need for tuning,i used it both in my T-max and my Nitro 4tec. i dont think rc engines are made for extended run times, being ABC engines and all. now leaf blowers and small weed eaters are and i have had great success fitting them into my Rc's at with the blower engines i get about an hour run time on mix gas in my 4 tec

Most of the blue parts that i got are GPM, The rims are NEW ERA & the muffler its MIP . You would have to do allot of searching & purchasing on EBAY .

to be honest with you i don't remember the name of the song , but what i can remember its that song its supply by you tube . i had a different song before and you tube remove the audio from my video because of copyrights infringement issues but they gave me the choice to replace it with you tube's audio collection . go to youtube video editing and then go to audio settings and look into either the rock list or metal list and you should find it there .

the engine on this truck its a os cvr 18 non pull-start and comes with the choice of slide carburetor and rotary carburetor . this engine version its rotary carburetor .
