The picture quality of the projector is terrible. Why would you need a projector in a phone? I can see it now, "I got the new i8520 beam and it has a neat projector built in" "OUCH! MY EYES"

it is an android phone with the latest version Android OS, v2.1 (Eclair).

only the samsung wave has the bada but i'm sure that beam is operated with android......

The projector thing, and th 8 megapixel is cool too, but the look of the mobile, its just so simple... I mean its not a big deal. And the main menu had been implemented from iPhone? :P

It's an Android phone, depending the theme Samsung implants, it might have the looks of an iPhone, but it's not comparable to it. I like Android more :P

It isnt android, it's Samsung's new OS called Bada and it is combined with TouchWiz 3.0

there is also the Samsung Wave which will feature the same OS as well as the Super - Amoled - Touchscreen.

Idk about it though, i might still stick with Android (OWNER OF A G1 on the first week of release)...... I like how it is open source (idk if Bada is) and Android is looking to start dominating the phone industry. Who knows though.... anything can happen
