Green Eggs and Ham is a good book. It's a good story with a good message...for children. It only utilizes 50 words to get its entire point across. Nobody would compare it with another good book, Ulysses, which uses 30,000. However, you couldn't expect a child to enjoy Ulysses. Children are incapable of understanding all the intricacies involved. People who can only appreciate a tiny fraction of what music has to offer enjoy this music.

it's not just a child vs grown up, music has many different languages and cultures, some may take time to like (or understand), for example, a person can say dream theatre is superior to kraftwerk, cos d.t. are virtuosos, kraftwerk only repeats synth lines, but then one day the person can become aware of the EFFECT of kraftwerk (elevation of the mind) vs the effect of dream theatre (puking). Check out GGD's other song Egowar, it's on youtube, it's really good. Clearly their best song EVER.

putting aside your completely oversimplified version of zeppelin...yes good is an opinion. however, musicianship is not. i've listened to more than one of these 'songs' and they think that playing the same three chords ad infinitum mixed with some screaming and electronic effects = genius. this = hackery. I don't know which black metal bands you listen to, but no, I wouldn't 'yell' at you for it. I like some metal (Mastodon, Celtic Frost). Some of it is rather tedious, but its all about ability.

it was amazing i got to see Mstrkraft , bloody beetroots,chemical brothers, killers and much more it was great it was my first year and only had money for saturday, but next year i would do anything to go the three days !! it is really worth it !! hope you have the chance to go next year !!
