What you mean to say is that you're Hispanic, And that no, you aren't African American as some people would think from look, But you do have black in you, which would be the slaves the spanish bought over...

I'm Puerto Rican, and I have a darker complexion. But I am under no delusions that I don't have black/african in me. kay? Same goes to you. Your skin color says it all.

Besides that, I don't think singing is really your thing. You either didn't hit the note or were flat most the time

Umm.....no. You don't have to be from the south to sing country. Trust me, people like things that are unexpected. You are really good and if you like Country, I say you go for it. Everyone will be like "Wow, she's good, SHE'S FROM NY?!?!?!" lol. No one will see it coming and you'll go straight to the top of the charts! Aim for the stars!

Haha thats kinda the same for me, though not with singing. I want to be an actress, but I live in a small town. And I don't really know anyone famous, but I'm determend... I think you can do anything, regardless of where you come from, and if you have the talent, which you do :)
