For the people who don't work in cups, I made these last night with a few extra bits, I used 60g of flour and 125ml water. If I do em again, I'll prolly just do onion or mixed veg and use less water for a thicker batter. Very nice (best I've made so far) and Namaste!
hello Aunty ! i really like how humbly u tell the recipe reminds me of mom .i want to know what does cornstarch do ? sometime i make aloo tikki and i dont have ararot cud i use cornstarch to amke them crispy like we get street chat in india ?

Ararot and cornstarch both give the crispness and give thickness to gravy.
