There is no transcript of ANY conversations between ANY persons involved in this incident saying that she is/was DIAGNOSED as being SUICIDAL. Allegedly, the Department RN spoke to a Psych specialist OVER THE PHONE. For all the public is knows, the RN could have said ANYTHING.A psych must be PRESENT to evaluate the person/s, in this case, to avoid bias. ("You can't critique and artwork you haven't seen")

We don't know if she had been drinking, who started the fight, whether she was a drug attic. Perhaps they were searching for needles because she looked high and she was being noncompliant, perhaps from drinking, and that's why you see her pinned down. Drunk or not she still has rights. I used to work in a correctional facility and they did NOT follow protocol in this situation(which should be obvious) and protocol is to be followed if at all possible. I am about the same size as her and even if I were fighting for my life it would not take 7 people to hold me down. There was no need for those men to be in there, and especially not for them to be in there alone with her.
And the strip search may have been necessary due to her statements but she can not be denied medical attention or left naked for six hours. Her items are to be searched and anything that could possibly be harmful removed and then returned to her. If they believed she was at risk for harming herself she should have received medical attention even sooner than normal rather than 6 hours later.

THIS video was NEVER seen by the jury. The ONLY one they saw was the one of the victim, Hope in the back seat of the cruiser, after being assaulted by the investigating officer.
Also the sheriff's dept kept information away from the grand jury investigators.
Plus, the sheriff's dept continues to this day to keep information from the public.

Both cops had the SAME testimony on her staggering, drunk and slurring her words. Yet the backup cop then goes on to testify that he didn't get there till they were putting her into the back seat!

Cop testified that he "pushed her against his car". Witnesses say he flew into a rage and slammed her on the car. Steffy has a cracked tooth, which version seems more likely?
Cop testified that she 'resisted' arrest. Witnesses say he had her arm behind her and she was just trying to save her arm.
Cop says that he then grabbed her right arm and tripped her and swung her to the ground.
Witnesses say he body slammed her hard enough to cause a nose bleed.
How do you crack someone's tooth by pushing them against a car?

He says that he used all this force, because she was "resisting arrest".

The force used by the officers does look excessive; however, her hysterics are not helping the situation. There is a lot of dramatization, it does not look like the male officers are sexually assaulting the woman nor does it look like the men were left alone with her for a long period of time. Wait, I've read elsewhere that nurses communicated with a psych(ia)(olo)gist OVER THE PHONE. There is no transcript of ANY conversations between ANY persons involved in this incident saying that she is/was DIAGNOSED as being SUICIDAL. Allegedly, the Department RN spoke to a Psych specialist OVER THE PHONE. For all the public is knows, the RN could have said ANYTHING.A psych must be PRESENT to evaluate the person/s, in this case, to avoid bias. ("You can't critique and artwork you haven't seen")

Thats just the excuse they are using, this was done to punish her. Even the BCI report says that this was done for her behavior, NOT because they thought she was suicidal.
She was given a suicide suit after hours of being kept naked in her cell.
When I asked WHY they didn't give her a suit that was DESIGNED for this I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone.

To the average citizen this video definitely looks like police brutality. I'm not taking the policemens' side but let me bring up a few things. From this video we don't know the whole story. We don't know if she had been drinking, who started the fight, whether she was a drug attic. Perhaps they were searching for needles because she looked high and she was being noncompliant, perhaps from drinking, and that's why you see her pinned down. I see a room full of people who are trying to control a drunken animal who, when just asked if she was thinking of harming herself, did NOT provide a negative answer. Therefore, those people had to search her for instruments she could use to harm herself. Perhaps if she were SOBER she could have conducted herself in a respectable manner (and not have had to be searched by force)... or answered "no".

The only other place I have seen screaming, thrashing around, and a team of people trying to do their job is at the jail.
If I didn't care about the public, I would have said "Well just leave her, let her hurt herself with whatever devices she may have." Obviously the Sheriff's Department deputies are taking ZERO pleasure in having to search her in this way.

Well you're partially right. I don't feel bad for people who get drunk and then act a damn fool.
I just get frustrated with the media sensationalizing this issue into the big mean police strip searching this poor defenseless woman. You DO realize that if they didn't, and she hurt herself with something, the Sheriff's Department is liable for that, right?

As far as searches go, this one was legal, so the Bill of Rights does not apply. If you ask someone in custody if they are thinking of harming themselves and they do not answer "no", you are COMPELLED BY LAW to ensure they have no contraband with which to harm themselves. Failure to do so is AGAINST THE LAW. She would not cooperate, which is why it took so many of them. She was intoxicated and did not know what was going on.

Again, READ CAREFULLY... THE SEARCH WAS LEGAL AND NECESSARY TO PROTECT SUICIDAL PEOPLE FROM THEMSELVES. Regardless of who's wife or daughter she is, she was in custody at the time which means your rights are limited. The Bill of Rights protects Americans from **UNREASONABLE** search and seizure. Just because you are inconvenienced does not mean the Constitution was violated. If you have a problem with the LAW, write your legislators, don't condemn those who enforce it.

Drunk or not she still has rights. I used to work in a correctional facility and they did NOT follow protocol in this situation(which should be obvious) and protocol is to be followed if at all possible. I am about the same size as her and even if I were fighting for my life it would not take 7 people to hold me down. There was no need for those men to be in there, and especially not for them to be in there alone with her.

And the strip search may have been necessary due to her statements but she can not be denied medical attention or left naked for six hours. Her items are to be searched and anything that could possibly be harmful removed and then returned to her. If they believed she was at risk for harming herself she should have received medical attention even sooner than normal rather than 6 hours later.

This sort of thing happens all the time. Lesson learned: DON'T CALL THE COPS! They do not help, they only make your life worse. I'm a 2x victim myself and what the cops did to me was worse then what I called for in the first place.
There is a special place in hell for these men in blue.

THIS video was NEVER seen by the jury. The ONLY one they saw was the one of the victim, Hope in the back seat of the cruiser, after being assaulted by the investigating officer.
Also the sheriff's dept kept information away from the grand jury investigators.
Plus, the sheriff's dept continues to this day to keep information from the public.
NOT just about this case, but also about general operations, policies and procedures.
This sound like people that have nothing to hide??

I have the trial transcript.
After she was released Steffy also went to the hospital, she had a concussion. But no ambulance was ever called.
Steffy also testified that her ears were ripped open by the police, when they removed her earrings.
Does this sound like people that are trying to "save your life"? Or that even care about what happens to you?
Cops claim Steffy was staggering, drunk and slurring her words.
Other PROSECUTION witnesses say she was speaking 'Crystal Clear'.

Both cops had the SAME testimony on her staggering, drunk and slurring her words. Yet the backup cop then goes on to testify that he didn't get there till they were putting her into the back seat!
Then we have the video of Steffy asking the cops what they are doing, do you hear her 'slur her words'?
And after you claim that someone is that drunk doesn't a breathalyser report to support this seem reasonable? None was ever done.

Cop testified that she disrespected him.
Cop testified that he "pushed her against his car". Witnesses say he flew into a rage and slammed her on the car. Steffy has a cracked tooth, which version seems more likely?
Cop testified that she 'resisted' arrest. Witnesses say he had her arm behind her and she was just trying to save her arm.
Cop says that he then grabbed her right arm and tripped her and swung her to the ground.
Witnesses say he body slammed her hard enough to cause a nose bleed.

The cop had a body mic & remote for his video camera.
He testifies twice that he's out in the "middle of nowhere".
Then he says Steffy had an outburst.
Then he says she kept it up.
Then he says she 'poked' him.
Then he decides to make an arrest.
Then he testifies that he calls for backup in case people "don't like the way he is handling things".
But he NEVER turns on the camera. After he assaulted Hope and she's mad and cussing him, THEN he decides to turn it on.
THIS is what the jury sees.

How do you have someone bleeding from their nose and give them a bulged disk in their back by swinging them down to the ground?
He says that he used all this force, because she was "resisting arrest".
Later in the trial he admits that Steffy slipped a hand out of her cuffs, but she TELLS him about it and never tries to escape! (Or resist without her arm being in a arm bar.)

I got hit with wiretap in MA for recording the police while the police were threating me.The federal courts in essence said I have no rights at all.I now pray that federal,state, and local government persons and there families get cancer and die horribly.I hope someone gets a suit-case nuke and kills everyone in Wash. D.C and at the state house in Ma.I hate what this country's turned into.The ones who support the governments actions should be placed in concentration camps and exterminated.
