Fantastic! Is it safe to assume you're running a pretty high compression ratio? Also, if you don't mind me asking, how did you fashion the electric water pump? Can't wait for the dyno!
@stevej617 Actually it only has flat tops as that was one restriction for the class I intend to run the car. (with 69cc chanbers and the cylinder vol. it should be about 10:1) The water pump was fairly easy I bought one for a 460 and fasioned new ends for it to match the marine timing cover.
gotta love the old stuff! sounds fantastic, that's going to be some fun....
see the triumph lurking in the background, again! my honda vfr rebuild is nearly there now, just picked up a stock exhaust from ebay to get it though the mot...
Sounds like a cat's purr here but yesterday it was loud enough I'm sure everyone in our town heard it. ... your hole body feels it. Anyone want to come see it?
Once again Tim music to my ears! Now if I saw correctly, you used a 292 crank and de-stroked it a little? I know you used the old cam from the Yellow Brick project. Do you have an idea what kind of HP it would putting out.
@Unibodyguy Not sure of the HP but I'm hoping for 1.1 per cubic inch. we will do a dyno pull when it is in the chassis and I will certainly video and post it. The HP will go up quite a bit with a single four and tuned exhaust but for now it just looks cool with the three 94s and zoomies.
wow, would i like that in my 56

Gave me chills...that thing spools up instantly! The big bore/short stroke sounds like it was the ticket!
Can't wait to see it run!
