that's just a drum on the drum set. the soda can thing I mean.

they don't actually play the sound that was recorded when they filmed, for the songs.

They film the people singing along with the playback recorded in the studios and then cover the sound over with the playback.

And they probably wouldn't open a can of soda while filming, they wouldn't want to get other sounds in.

But haha, that was quite funny though.
