I think this is how everyone has felt at some point in their like (although maybe not as strongly as in the vid), that we are freaks or life has treated us unfairly. That's what makes it so powerful I think, that we can all understand what he's feeling.
Meaning people have a tendency to over estimate others' emotional response, at least when it comes to acting. But in this case I have trouble believing him, without the other aspects of production helping him along. I really didn't think it was that hard to understand. - And I never said his acting was 'bad' but *fine* I think his acting is bad.
@Gruenfuchs She's not very likable... at first. She develops into a much stronger, introspective person who was just very flawed. I think her finding God really did have something to do with her character.
Dead like me was such a great show! Wish they had more episodes. This is one of my favourite scenes, and I especially love the song Nomah's land... Thanks for uploading it! =)
Dead like me, such a great show!!! And this scene is amazing, one of the best in the series. I love the song too, Nomah's land... Thanks for uploading it! =)
(I'm going to get killed for this on here I think.) This guy is not a very good actor. The directing, writing, editing, and Daisy's acting are all incredible. His acting is adequate. Thing that really takes it to the next level is the music. When I first watched this scene I remember specifically thinking 'Wow, this is great. How could they ever top this.' I'm not sure they did. As a straight man, I never had to go through any of that - and yet it still felt very profound. I agree with MusicGirl
@futurestoryteller First you say that he isn't a very good actor and after that you say that his acting is adequate. So do you think his acting is bad or adequate?
This scene it deals with an issue that millions of people deal with everywhere all over the world. It is good to see it on here and they chose a beautiful piece of music that blends with the scene perfectly. I love how they have that comic relief done by Daisy that brings it back to earth. Beautifully done!
Nomah's Land is such a great song. I remember when this episode was first aired, and everyone was franticly searching for this song. I am glad Metisse finally released it.
The Devils greatest achivement is making people beleive he doesn't exsist. So naturaly people will even believe that God doesn't exisit. Like everything in this world there has to be a balance To put it simply, good and evil, ying and yang, right and wrong...ect are what makes life essential. God is in everything! you just have to look beyond what you see and have faith and he will guide you, if you let him. Have Faith.
This was one of my favorite parts of the entire series.

even though Daisy is not really a likeable character, her scenes, especially in season two, are by far the best and deepest!
