Plus anyway, music in the ancient times was different than what people think today...i'm not very into middle age, but I do play Renaissance music, and though almost all the songs are lovers complaints, yet not all of them are sad or slow...in fact, the very same song can be played rapidly or slowly, and both work perfectly well.
The essence of music is precisely to keep everything as free and lively as possible. Of course there are codes, things to be expected...but then again you have to limit the rules, because too many rules would limit the music so much that it wouldn't be music anymore.
I'd say this is a very good interpretation. But saying it can't be sung so quick is being pretty narrowminded. Singing "fast" about love or anything is nothing new. What would you say if in 500 years you would here Lady Madonna in 20 beats per minute because the lyrics "are so religiously delicate it can't possibly have been sung quickly". Or any fast song about love or anything.
pleasant voice but I don't think that a lamentation about love and a "douce dame" could be sang so much quickly;this is a sadness and desolation song;how can you show your love and sadness with a so precipitated manner;awful voice nevertheless
Peut-être un peu rapide pour une chanson d'amour, mais pas inintéressant...

Cette musique se trouve dans la BO du jeu Anno 1503 mais avec des instruments à vent celtique.

It rocks. Unfortunately they've forgot to add electric guitars, electric organ and drums

Amusnate inteprétation toute en rapidité. Un côté arabo-andalou... Si Amina Alaoui (longue vie à elle) pouvait "nous" la chanter !

Awful voice ? I don't think so.
A very plaisant interpretation, wih is no longer, it's true, a lamentation.
Please excuse my lack of vocabalury :)
