pretty bad ass, too bad so many of those old cars came with slushboxes instead of a proper clutch and gears trans. there's something i love about the torque curve of an inline six. I'd take one of those over the 318 v8 any day.
@27dcx yea these old dodge slant 6's have some major torque. when we pulled the one outta the 72 dart there the counterweights were huge and the stroke on that motor was really long
i'm gonna rebuild my slant six pretty soon ...do you think i should get pistons of a bigger compression ? is a Dodge dart 1972 2 door ;)

friging right on thats cool as hell. i had one of those slant six's in an old 70 dodge van. started every time and i beat the shit out of it
