Cheap rolands (even hd-1) can be connected to a laptop or whatever via MIDI to trigger anything out of the libraries on that machine too. So, this isnt really great (i mean the stuff the guy is telling him).

Trigger sounds off your *PC* via MIDI is not the same as being able to load them *into* the drum brain -- no latency, no need to bring your laptop on stage, etc.
@exepadez Buy this one (have to answer in english, since you swedes can't read norwegian for some reason). I've had the TD12, and this one is even better than that, so it's better than the td9 for sure. This kit is more future proof as well, since you can plop in your own samples. The TD9 and TD12 are probably going to get replaced by new kits soon anyways, so they're sort of dead tech at the moment.
the hardware is not inportant you can buy a bass drum pedal its not expensive but its true that the hard ware isnt esthetic but i think its a very good electronik drum for practice and its about continue for others series and at last you have something not invented by japan ^^
haha vad? ändra till ddrum stand :P jag vill fan köpa detta set men vågar inte. det är så nytt företag så jag är rädd om det går sönder. eller om företaget kursar. har du detta trumset?
DDRUM MAN!! for 2000 euro, edit your own samples and import them, loops, etc...
Everything man, as long as its .wav. And the most important fact, is that it plays like a real drumkit... You can download new software for "the brain", so your brain is always up to date...
Its just doesnt really look that cool, with that orange, but heyyyy, maybe its the new black!!!
Pretty fucking good man, The kit costs only 1800 euro if you got the right distributer (than again thats 4 pad not 5) but its all mesh and duel zone and all cymbals are triple zone 14 inch, i do have some doubts on the highhat though, but you could easily buy a Vh-11 roland place it on the same stand and use the previous highhat as a splash cymbal. The cool thing really is the module though, it has 16 triple/double zone trigger in's. So you can have 18 pads on there. And custom make sounds.
