i was on the brick dragons that year and personally i thought howell was just a better team. I mean a team just doesnt get first in every competition then get last ? doesnt make sense. they were realllly nice to us.

They barely get off the ground on the straddle jumps and you see some of them not even standing up out of back handsprings (around 2:03) or back tucks (around 2:13)!

Pretty good group coordination in some places (not so good in others) but otherwise I don't see why people think this is awesome unless these are 6 year olds or something.

P.S. You should mute this unless you want your hearing damaged by the incredibly annoying screaming girls in the audience.

umm this is actually AMAZING for pop warner. Pop Warner has no try outs, no cuts, starts in august ends in December, and is run by volunteers. These kids don't spend hours and hours in the gym like all-stars do.. Check out some other Pop Warner teams and you'll see they are clearly the best.

I've been trying to find some videos of seriously good cheerleading and I was assuming this was supposed to be top notch stuff from older people. Considering what you said, this isn't bad stuff (the screaming is still incredibly irritating though).

uhmm yeah they only won because howell had a safety that nobody knew about none oif the other competitions told them if howell idnt even have that they would of been first and uhmm highest score of the whole comp much!

Howell did have knee drops which was a huge deduction, but they also had a kick double basket toss go inverted (5pts if the judges caught it), half of their pyramid fell (360 on the left fell and kicked the base in the head), and they had an arabesque on the right side almost fall. Even if they didn't have knee drops they still wouldn't have beaten the Angels. It's February now, time to get over it and focus on 2009.

i'm assuming you mean that you got a 97 from ONE JUDGE at regionals, since he announced the pt difference. maybe the other teams got a higher score than that from one judge. you said you hit a perfect routine & had no deductions, but the angels had 1.5 points in deductions at regionals and you only managed to beat them by 0.1. JUST BE HAPPY THAT YOU EVEN MADE IT TO NATIONALS, since you had illegal knee drops at every single competition.

yeah well thats what i meant. but we got 98's also, but yes i remember. and a judge told us perfect routine. of course we had minor, verrrry minor deductions, or else we wouldve had a 100. we beat them by .2 but thats not that much of a difference, i think we had a 96.6 they had a 96.4 and monroe had a 96.2 or something like that, and we were never told the knee drops were illegal. technically they wernt, but our hands were positioned wrong, and thats why they took points off.
