I love reading Karen Kingsbury's book and I have shared them with friends who have enjoyed them as much as I do. Would love to see them make movies out of them. I would then have them in my library with the books.

I just finished reading all the books about the Baxter Family and now I see this video clip. The actors you chose are absolutely perfect. Maybe someone should contact Hallmark television and get them to sponsor a series of movies on each of Karen's books about the Baxters. That would truly be a treasure to those of us who feel like the Baxters are part of our family.

I have been reading the Baxter Series all summer and I am finished except for sunset. I am so thankful to you Karen Kingsbury for allowing God to use you in such a mighty way. These books have truly changed my life. I have fallen in love with the Baxter family. The things that they go through is so real and their faith is so strong. Thanks so much for the helpful advice. Britt & I really just wanted to have some fun, so we asked ourselves, "hmmm...if we could have anyone we wanted be in the-not-so-much-real-totally-o­ur-imagination Baxter movie, who would we pick?" We put aside the realism and went with our imaginations, I guess. We're just crazy, inexperienced theatre ed. and PR majors who barely can work our Windows Movie Maker, but we had fun. Thanks again. :)

The casting is good but I have to admit I like Matthew McConaughey as Dayne and Sela Ward as Elizabeth. Can't wait to see more videos like this!! Thanks for the comment. I had thought about casting Matthew McConaughey as Dayne...just because both of their personas and Hollywood status are very much the same. However, Matthew has Texas accent and I couldn't bring myself to do it. Also, I casted Sally Field because she looks like Elizabeth on the book cover so much. But Sela Ward is a good alternative too. Thanks again!

wow, that would be an amazing movie!! They picked the right people for each part too, a lot of them are exactly as I pictured them while reading. Although for some reason I always pictured Ashley as being blonde and the rest being brunette! but Paul Walker as Luke is almost exactly as I pictured him.
