no, it won't vibrate, but if you put it on a low cabinet, it will introduce some resonance.

These things are great..especially with city noises keeping you awake. I've been using one for a long time.

Same here. I'm 19. I've been sleeping with this ever since I was a baby. If I do not have it with me, I can not sleep.

And hey, they say newborn babies sleep better with these things too because of the white noise. It sounds similar to the mother's womb. I thought that was pretty interesting haha. Now when I have a crying baby I'll just turn this thing on XD
