@NYTROOPA Thanks so much, that means a lot to hear this is your favorite. I really wanted to get this one right, since it was my first A7X attempt, and it's such a fun song. This is the first time I put microphones directly on the ride and hi-hat, so I think that's why they really pop in the mix.

every time you make a new cover I am so surprised at your choices, you like to mix it up! The mix was great, keeps sounding better and better. The Rev was a very high energy drummer, and you did him justice with this cover John!

I really liked the moving camera thing, added substance instead of just all stationary shots.

@MrIPunchHard Not, it's an acoustic snare - a piccolo. It sounds funny because the microphone is picking up the china cymbal right above it, giving it a sizzle sound.

Heck you could even turn down the volume of the song.

But I think you need to mix everything a little higher. Toms, bass drum, cymbals, are rather lacking in comparison to the snare and the song. Good cover though!

@OneTakeJesus I did have some trouble with this mix - nothing seemed to make the drums pop. But I have to say that the mix sounded better before I uploaded it to YouTube. Oh well, c'est la vie.
