I have read where she had a mental illness and her husband didn't help much, if any. But I have been depressed about stuff over the years and even driven to tears over stuff. But before I lay a hand on my children, I would make sure they're safe and taken care of, and then kill myself. I could never harm my babies and not myself. NEVER
PPD needs more attention and more treatment. Not simply 'are you experiencing symptoms of post partum?' at your six week check-up. These symptoms can vary GREATLY. The stigma is awful. I know; I suffered from it. :(
Andrea has an illness, we all know that. Those babies didn't deserve to be drowned, but I think God took them all because he knew that if they had lived after what she did to them, she would have probably tried to hurt them again some other way. These poor babies never had a chance. Not only should Rusty have stopped getting Andrea pregnant, but she should NOT have been left alone with those kids under any circumstances. And now he is married and apparently has a child. They were beautiful children, Noah John Paul Luke and Mary. I had the privileged of knowing them during their short lives. My mother knew Rusty and I knew the children, although I don't talk about them very much only when someone on Youtube ask me about it. God bless Noah John Paul Luke and Mary. I love you. This is indeed, very sad and I can not even come close to understanding why any mother could do this to her five beautiful babies. I have read where she had a mental illness and her husband didn't help much, if any. But I have been depressed about stuff over the years and even driven to tears over stuff. But before I lay a hand on my children, I would make sure they're safe and taken care of, and then kill myself. I could never harm my babies and not myself. NEVER

PPD needs more attention and more treatment. Not simply 'are you experiencing symptoms of post partum?' at your six week check-up. These symptoms can vary GREATLY. The stigma is awful. I know; I suffered from it. :(

Andrea has an illness, we all know that. Those babies didn't deserve to be drowned, but I think God took them all because he knew that if they had lived after what she did to them, she would have probably tried to hurt them again some other way. This way here, God is protecting them now and they are away from her. If that makes sense.

I read that the father had a pretty good job but they didn't have a decent place to live until after the third kid was born-had spent a lot of time in a school bus. The mother had been having serious mental episodes-I say no wonder, from all the exhaustion she must have felt- tackling homeschooling on top of frequent births) but he kept getting her pregnant. Then after all of this and the mother's locked away, the father shows up in the church they'd all been going to with a new blonde bride.

Someone said she was in prison... the sad thing is she's not. At her second trial (the first was a mistrial) she was found not guilty by reason of insanity. She is living in a mental hospital/half way house! SHE IS NOT IN PRISON FOR KILLING HER CHILDREN!!!
