  • (bloomberg dec10. 2010) Ron Paul.....said today that he will “not really, not right up front” push for an end to the U.S. central bank.

“But obviously that’s the implication,” Paul said in a Bloomberg Television interview on “In the Loop” with Betty Liu. Paul said he was talking about a “transition.”

  • I've heard from many Paulites they are long winded and stupid. Have fun

  • do your homework, he didnt vote for subsidies, he voted for bringing the said bill to a vote instead of going back to committee.

  • Thanks for posting and pushing back against these naive lunatics. But as you can see you are dealing with a cult of fanatics who are totally bigoted, obsessive and ignorant about the last 30 years...

  • Its funny, earlier today I commented on a Ron Paul video in which Ron Paul stated that he was drafted. I pointed out that there was no way this could be true. Besides the fact that Ron Paul served in the Air Force which almost never drafted anyone, but also because under the Reserve Forces Act of 1955 he would have been excluded due to being married and having a child. Even after pointing that out, Ron Paul supporters claimed that Ron Paul never lies and I was the one lying. Its crazy.

  • @TheCommonMan101 Ron Paul fans in general are crazy, there are a few good ones though.

  • this guys not that smart, but he's opinionated

  • Wow the Paul Turds are at it again. Wow, if you speak against their god, it is rate that video down.

  • Your wrong, there are assumtions to your model of anti trust. The Rockefellers of the world did not get there without any gov help, so it was the gov that took sides and than they pretended to fix the problem with anti trust. In a free market Ron Paul advocates with enforced contracts and property rights Rockefeller and the bunch would have not been able to get away with the deals they put in place diminishing the possibility of a monopoly, and no need for anti trust or subsidies.

  • hey man good to see ya. How you doin?

  • I then log onto the Internet which was developed by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Administration and post on freerepublic and fox news forums about how SOCIALISM in medicine is BAD because the government can't do anything right. Keep government out of my Medicare!

  • Then, after spending another day not being maimed or killed at work thanks to the workplace regulations imposed by the Department of Labor and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, I drive back to my house which has not burned down in my absence because of the state and local building codes and the fire marshal's inspection, and which has not been plundered of all its valuables thanks to the local police department.

  • I park my car on the street, paved and maintained by the Department of Transportation, and put quarters issued by the United States Mint into the parking meter.

  • using legal tender issued by the Federal Reserve Bank and printed by the Federal Bureau of Engraving and Printing. On the way out the door I deposit any mail I have to be sent out via the US Postal Service and drop the kids off at the public school.

  • At the appropriate time as regulated by the US Congress and kept accurate by the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the US Naval Observatory, I get into my National Highway Traffic Safety Administration approved automobile and set out to work on the roads built by the local, state, and federal Departments of Transportation, possibly stopping to purchase additional fuel of a quality level determined by the Environmental Protection Agency

  • After that, I turned on the TV to one of the FCC regulated channels to see what the National Weather Service of the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration determined the weather was going to be like using satellites designed, built, and launched by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. I watched this while eating my breakfast of US Department of Agriculture inspected food and taking the drugs which have been determined as safe by the Food and Drug Administration.

  • This morning I was awoken by my alarm clock powered by electricity generated by the public power monopoly regulated by the US Department of Energy.

I then took a shower in the clean water provided by the municipal water utility. Then, I brushed my teeth with that water, filtered to standards set by the EPA and my state.

  • Additionally, I Can PROMISE you, if ron paul and republicans win your salary might be taxed less but it will take a BACKWARDS turn as Minimum wage is abolished and corporations get more and more freedom to use forgein labor and NEED you LESS.

  • Lol. Ron paul offers more economic freedom that the Far left? Let's just test that theory, Which would you rather? I'm sure you're not satisified with how much you're paid. How would you like to not pay taxes ontop of that! Because THAT'S the freedom Ron Pauls offering. The freedom the libertarian SOCIALIST are offering? A VOTE ON THE MEANS Of PRODUCTION. WHICH GIVES YOU MORE FREEDOM? Freedom to spend your crappy salary however you want or VOTE ON how much the goods you consume COST?

  • Leftist peace activists who pose as strict constitutionalists by surrogate, thereby discrediting both all the conspiracy gun fanatics who love Iran and Islam and the far left anti state socialists naeves. Ron Paul is even more racist than the zionists he defends. Send him back to 1800`s kuukuu land and stop pretending that Obama is a leftist. In other countries he is considered as waay right of even the moderates. Suck it paulbots. Romney/Gingrinch/Bachmann pick your flavor and suck on it.

  • Paul wasn't giving a subsidy, he was getting rid of taxes. It's not a language game, he's just doing what he said he will do, abolish any tax whenever possible. And economic freedom is in no way separated from personal liberty. The government effectively controls you if it controls your business. And why are you announcing it like big news that the Fed isn't run by government? Yeah, that's exactly why people wanna abolish it! Government and business cannot intersect. And that's what Paul says.

  • No single person will be able to solve this mess - because the entire system is broken, corrupt from top to bottom, and this is not just an American problem, but a global problem. The big banks + corporations control the economy and own the legislators. The people have no more input into this process. I will give Paul credit when credit is due (such as his anti-war stance), but as you know, I completely disagree with his free market ideology, which is part of the reason for these wars.

  • Good one Louie. And you know there may be some reasonable Paul supporters out there...but a lot of them are the most obnoxious loud mouthed narrow minded ill opinionated turds on earth--they make Trolls seem like pleasant company. And as far as protectionism...it goes hand in hand with the union movement...let Ron Paul and some his not so bright sparks correlate the decline of the union movement and protectionism with the decline of working conditions and pay of the working and middle classes.

  • @seamoremonster as we both know, Ron Paul has some good policies, but when his supporters give him a free ticket, I have to speak up. he's just like the others with bettere rhetoric. Protectionism would be the smartest thing this country would ever do, but the MSM and their rhetoric about "we don't want to start another trade war with China" is just hogwash. China doesn't buy many American made products.

  • @LouieDaProtectionist I believe in protectionism and fair trade. This said, in regards to China, this is too late, since China finances a huge percentage of our debt, so if anything, these policies need to be gradually reversed. It is not just the trade imbalance, the picture is bigger.

  • @55ella2007k true ella. I'm against free and fair trade (as you know) fair trade won't work because corps are always looking out for their highest rate of return (to be expected). as far as them (China) vs. us, I think they are at a huge disadvantage, and I never understood why they would finance our debt.

  • @seamoremonster Excellent comment, seamore.

  • @seamoremonster

thanks for the share, sea. definitely thumbed UP.

  • You probably don't see Youtube videos thanking Obama for ending the war because he tried extending it, failed, and then took credit for withdrawing troops under the Bush timeline. As far as who's the biggest "oil whore," I'd have to say the winner is Obama as he's the largest recipient of contributions from BP's PAC in the last 20 years as well as receiving over $200,000 in 2008 from oil industry employees.

  • @dman3132092 You are correct: Obama deserves no credit for ending the Iraq war, since he followed the Status of Forces Agreement put into place by Bush. And yes, he tried to extend it. As far as Big Oil, Big Banks: both parties are fed from that trough pretty much equally. Our entire political system is so broken and corrupt at this point, I'm afraid it can no longer be changed from within. The problem is systemic + on a global scale.

  • Guess You are still beating that Obama Drum...LOL

  • @TheMidnightRider11 Obama, no. they're all the same. there are NO saviors or quick fixes. they're all owned.

  • @LouieDaProtectionist

    Subsidies are straight hand outs,

Ron Paul voted against the Iraq war, and voted for the oil deductions.

bernie sanders is a populous snake and should not be taken seriously

  • I gotta say one thing for the core Paul supporters. They're committed.

  • @citizenkong haha

  • Do you like the idea of a private corporate power having control of your monetary structure with little to no oversight? Seriously?

I'll deal with the Anti-Trust concepts and monopolies after I read up a bit.

You seem level headed but some of the things you are stating I KNOW you can admit are unjustified or exaggerated.

  • @Theobrothers I don't like the idea of a private corporate power running our government. that's what the Koch Brother's Tea Party was a ll about. strip environmental regulations, so they could profit more, and we end up with dirty air.

  • @LouieDaProtectionist

Well, let's discuss property rights. Do you feel that they would, keep in check more so the ability to pollute, than an organization like the EPA?

I see Ron as being entirely correct that it "should" but I also see the other side of the argument which is the reality that money buys victory in a lot of cases. It comes down to either, a desire for guaranteed corruption of a few through a costly organization or at least a chance, albeit minute, through judicial practices.

  • @LouieDaProtectionist It´s real good video Louie.Your spot on mate! It´s all about semantics, and i would say indoctrination. It´s sad.Ah those loony tunes just read the garbage that comes from think tanks and swallow it,sadly.Yes, Freedom, but for who? Can´t they see the difference between freedom for Corporations and freedom for Individuals, and that those two freedoms, almost always stand in opposition to each other? It´s simple,"just look around you" as old Chomsky says.

  • lol, I knew the troops from the Paul army would come marching over to downvote your video (probably without even watching it or understanding what you said). Typical Paultards. I'd be in favor of nationalizing the fed and turning it into the next national bank of the US. NOT a central bank, but a national bank.

Side note: I think the reason no one is congratulating Obama is because even though he has ended one war, he's started many others and is constantly fucking with other countries.

  • @IcedEarth426 yeah Obama sucks. we have no savior though, and that's what I wanted the Paul supporters to understand. there isn't a savior.

  • @LouieDaProtectionist

I think the "savior" comes from the fact that it has been generations since we have seen a politician we could claim as honest. You'd be hard pressed to call Ron a liar, like any politician he may bend or omit some things as he understands how they can be viewed or construed but a liar would be hard to make a case on.

Yes some people go to far rhetorically as many of his positions are arguable. Unlike other political figures though, they are at least arguable positions.

  • @LouieDaProtectionist Yes, you're most certainly correct about this. As long as we have a Congress which blatantly votes in favor of big money, there will be no representation of the people. I will not be casting a vote for the presidential slot at all, because it is nothing but a farce at this point. Just because people are still able to vote, doesn't mean that our interests are actually being represented. At this point, this is an illusion, imho.

  • The war ended yesterday after what, 8 years? lol. How are you cheering that. Also, Obama wouldn't have left if they had extended immunity for the troops, he left because they wouldn't. Also, how is keeping thousands of "Blackwater" hired mercenary type contractors leaving Iraq?

Why not mention these things in addition to your critique? Are you biased or just unresearched on the facts?

Sure wish you cited his subservience to Big Oil, but I don't mind doing my homework so it's all good.

  • @Theobrothers NO, you are correct. the war should have never even taken place. that's why I became a Paul supporter. I'd even go as far as saying that I was one of the first R. Paul supporters about 4 or 5 years ago. oil and war though are directly correlated. war means profit for the Military Industrail Complex, as well as Big Oil which R. Paul supports.

  • @LouieDaProtectionist

I really disliked you repeating the Obama ended the war rhetoric, and it is just that. It is well known why he HAD to pull out the troops but at the same time why the US hasn't really left.

I was too, I was doing what I am now in making comments all over the place, just more so now. I've done enough fighting with people, it's time to educate and debate the facts.

I'd like to see his connections to Big Oil, I know Gold supports him but Oil is news to me.

  • Your boyfriend did a beautiful job on the apartment, too bad you two can't get married.

You know its rare to find an ignorant redneck without a deep southern accent.

  • Hahahaha, you should be on Comedy Central.

  • @RonPaulSwede Why not Comedy Central has Jon Stewart who is a far more reliable source of news and information than the mainstream media. I'm sure Louie is grateful for the suggestion. Meanwhile you may well return to the latest episode of Chuck Norris and Walker, Texas Ranger which is another fantasy suited to the intellect and political naivety of the Zombie mentality. Remember...Ron Paul...1812 because he was behind the times even back then.

  • How is this Video Relevant he voted against both the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Try to Educate yourself a little.

  • @RonPaulRevolution92 you're correct. Since then, he has been a big supporter of supporting big oil. did you forget when his son said that Obama should take his government bootheel off hte neck of BP?

  • @LouieDaProtectionist What the hell is this!Only 1 thumb up and 16 down!Have all 0,5% that voted for that bloody country doctor Ron Paul,in 1988 ,finally found the excellent channel LouieDaProtectionist!Good! They might learn some about the real world!Take care my friend!

  • Wow... you need to read some books about those anti trust laws.

Ron Paul can start the process to audit the fed. Big bankers and government are tied by the hip.

Alan Greenspan is not a libertarian, libertarians do not run a communist style central bank.

The president needs 0 republican and 0 democrat votes to bring troops home.

Government is foremost one of the largest infringers of personal liberty/private property, taxation is theft, so you cannot protect freedom with theft and violence

  • @RyanR3volution That constitution you Paul fans always scream about (ie you think your particular interpretation is the only correct interpretation) allows for taxation. Also the amendment that created the income tax was created and ratified legally as per the constitutional requirements for amending the constitution. Paul may be right about the wars, but his economic views would turn the clock back about 100 years. He and all of his fans scream "liberty" and "freedom" like zombies.

  • @MaryJo1950

I'm still working on all the information available, but it seems to me that if true, constant spelling and grammar errors along with omissions and additives to a document, would make any signing of that edited document null and void legally.

    16th_Amendment_Not-Ratified.pdf

    Interesting either way.

  • @MaryJo1950

The Constitution is a peice of paper, it is preferable to having a legal document for procedure in a republic but the income tax is totally unconstitutional and immoral, ie forced labor because they take 5 months of your pay away from you, that is forced labor by any reasonable definition and theft. His economic views stem from the Austrian school, the same guys who predicted the bubbles because of the boom and bust cycle from the artificial interest rates and currency manipulation

  • @RyanR3volution the bubble was predictable. I predicted it to all my family and friends. the bubble to bust cycle was because of the deregulation which allowed the investment banks to bet against the poor slobs that never should have taken out loans.

  • @LouieDaProtectionist

Not really, that is a big red herring, there was not 1 repealed regulation that would have prevented the economic bubble from forming.

Glass Steagal has nothing to do with the problem at hand, it is a big red herring, Canada lacked any sort of Glass Steagall leglslation and did not have a bubble.

Blaming the market for a government mandated institution to loan out with loans backed by the federal government is willfully ignorant.

  • almost forgot. The illegal war in Iraq that Obama said he would have all the troops home in the first 16 months of office? He took 4 years? Maybe the reason you don't hear about it is because there was no official declaration of war in the first place. Obama supported building of the largest embassy in the world there and hiring 14,000 contractors to stay as military leaves. By the way the troops are still there. Anything he does this late in the game is for the election. Think about it........

  • IDIOT! ABSOLUTE IDIOT> NO BRAIN,CLUELESS PATHETIC ATTEMPT AT VOICING HIS OPINION!

  • And No offense, but generalizing Ron Paul supporters as "Paul-tards" etc. doesn't help any argument. Instead it shows lack of respect, and reason in your explanations. I won't bash you for your views, but I will surely be glad to softly point out why you're misunderstanding something, and everyone should be able to take some healthy criticism. I hope you find the time and patience to do more research, and try not to generalize the intellect of a group of people supporting the only REAL candidate

  • @talon12bp you're correct. I get quite emotional. just understand that Ron Paul isn't a savior, as NONE of the candidates are. support the 99% is my message to you. Peace

  • The Constitution is what really matters. Ron Paul defends liberty in all he does. Look at what Obama did this week by signing into law NDAA Section1031..!! It makes indefinite detention of US Citizens without need for evidence, or trial, legal!!!! Newt want to Strengthen the Patriot Act, and the only person wanting to TRULY balance the budget so we don't owe our souls to CHINA, is Ron Paul. I think you have a lot more reading to do. I would start with Austrian Economics 101. Then you'll see..

  • Also, current Tax Code allows BIG business to be taxed the LEAST in effective percentages, so the alternative to Ron Paul's lower taxes would be a worse situation. All businesses would benefit by lower taxes. That's a proven fact. YES, even the little guys. Ron Paul doesn't support Tax subsidies for one type of business in particular. Despite all this, he has many more things in his character that are much more appealing, AND IMPORTANT than a tax credit. HE PLANS TO SUPPORT THE CONSTITUTION..

  • I respect your attempt to explain your view, but I think you have accidentally missed the main point Ron Paul makes in his statements. He has already explained that he is for reducing taxes as much as possible on ALL business. Not BIG oil specifically. Part of his philosophy is equal treatment across the board. Despite how much we hate BIG OIL, we cannot get into the habit of treating them differently, and Ron Paul doesn't plan to give them "special treatment". He has explained this in detail.
