I kinda have a question about why Zutara is so popular? I don't really see Katara and Zuko having any attraction to each other in the show. The show showed Mai and Zuko have a quasi-relationship since childhood, but Katara never shows physical interest in anyone other than Jet, and then much later, Aang. The epilogue-ish thing at the end kinda set the pairings. I'd just like an answer to why its so popular, but please no, "they're hot together", or "opposites attract" nonsense.

@naokikiri There is a chemestry between Zuko and Katara, whether you see it or not. Look at the evidence. They had a moment imprisoned together in Ba Sing Se, and in the episode "The Southern Raiders" (look at the part where He saves katara fromthe rocks and look at where his right hand his pointing. ;D) and when he riskes his life to save her from lightning. Even the creators admitted that zutara was initially supposed to happen, but they changed it for some apperent reason. Go Zutara!!!!!!!!!!

@naokikiri zutara not popular, well if you read the zuko so in love with katara stories and katara whips whips him all the time well than maybe. I thought when zuko embraces his roku side he becomes a calm and understanding person. he befriends the people he chased. Katara forgave him. I have no qualm about anyone having the two being together, I think its creepy some base it on the waterbending scroll. or kataang with how many times they kissed. .

@naokikiri The way I see it, it's because of their similar backstories (mother was taken away from them) as well as they can be both very passionate about things. They also had zutara moments in the show (the cave in ba sing se as well as the end of the southern raiders).

@naokikiri have you note that Zuko is trying to stay close to her, and beeing nice to her, or that Katara stop every time she look at zuko's eyes like she is lost on then? That when they hug each other they looks like they are save each other arms. Or that they are always looking at each other. always that katara stay angry with zuko he looks like his hole world fell down. and Zuko almost die 2 times to save her. His face when he notes that she is in danger looks like he is almost die too.
