  • another thing , you need to lean more on your knees, i can see that from your muscles as well, they should be bigger , bend with the knees , not with your belly; that shall help you for the balance as well.

  • you need to work on the left to right carve, your left leg goes too much aside while your right stays still.

  • Excellent routines I practise at least one of them for 30 min everytime I skate. It's really made me a better skater! Thanks for posting.

  • I tried the drills and I must say they are all very helpful in getting me towards double push technique! I recommend anyone who wants to learn double push in speed skating. This is really the best and easy to learn.

  • @firstskate - I hardly wait for the 2011 spring to get out and start practice all the moves, seen in your posts or other clinic speed skating movies. Now I will start on ice... just for fun at least. We only have rinks in open air, and they are small on size. Unfortunately here in RO the ice speed skating doesn't have much support and no tracks for this. Would love to feel the glide on ice on a short boot...
