the shasey? your fucking retarded and your accent. my pc shits these out on a daily basis. they shoot right out of the usb3 port 2 - 3 at time sometimes. this is an old vid i know your trolls... shit im trolling around also so get over it.
so i've seen artigo boxs at frys for 200-275. This is a complete rip off. A marketing ploy so they can get away with selling you a box and board without a HD, ram, and last I checked the nano, C7, and eden all lost in performance to the atom which also sucks. For 300 or less you can get the lenovo q150 with a dual core atom/ion2. Or do what I did, buy a custom board from china with a dual core amd that 3x faster and has HD radeon all on a single pico or nano-itx
I like how small it is and that you save some money by not having them build it for you but I think if you want to build a computer you should put in the extra $200-$300 bucks for a real comp
Goodness Be!! Change the sound!!!! Mix-down that soundtrack and up his voice... I've craned my ear trying to hear him and when I do, I'm expecting porn stars to pop out of the screen. Seriously.
I just got mine. The top cover completely blocks the fan! This means that it makes all that noise for no good reason. I'll have to make my own ventilation so the fan can take in air.
wonder if it can run 100% load on cpu for more than 24 hours straight and in a well cooled custom chassis that can hole 48 of these and with its oun built in network switch 48 port this is a 8u chassis
With mobo lamination that has been going on for the past decade or so, no one uses anti static bands any more unless you are barefooted and dragging your feet across the carpet.
I'm not trying to insult you directly man, I'm just stating that if you go into most modern computer repair shops you'll see that unless you are in an unusually high static environment you're not gonna see anyone wearing anti-static wrist bands, we just tap the edge of the work bench to make sure we don't have any built up static and then we dig in....
I've never had any problems messing with computers while lacking an antistatic wristband. I've fixed up a large variety of computers by simply touching a piece of metal for a couple seconds before touching a motherboard. of course, I work on a surface thats static resistant, like a table...i dunno, maybe im just lucky?
Actually, it doesn't seem to be that bad, expect late P3/ early Celeron D (P4 era) performance, with 1GHz CPU, 1GB DDR2 SDRAM, 160GB IDE HDD, it's not blazing, but not horrible.
By the way, found a 4 inch screen and hinges at B and H photo. Anyway, it has about 1 ghz of power, although it probably can be upgraded with a bit of tweaking (It is a DIY kit after all). Same applies to the memory. Cool if you need a bunch of low density servers in a small area.
Hey. It's not the price for the small box. It's the way it looks. Let's hear from anyone who actually likes the way the box looks. Good design doesn't cost more. This engineering jewel almost demands something more attractive.
The idea behind the ARTIGO is to build their generic case into your own cool enclosure shell. They did the hard part, all you have to do is create your own shell to put this in.
If this technology is available for general public, i wonder what is available to the military and other agencies.

There useless shit boards suffer from an inherent tencency to have crappy outdated disfunctional incompatibled bioses too..
and memory modules are rarely compatible even when they are withing the clock speed / type and size.
There products are of the lowest quality i've ever had the missfortune to witness...
and there tech suport is a myth!
I am apaled!
i've had nothing but never ending troubles and silence from them sins i baught my artigo!

As a VIA customer i urge via to replace there support website with a page clearly directing the user to "Go stick your head in a pig"
it would be a lot more honest then there current pretense at offering any thing more then inacurate documentation.

i thought the fan was channeled to slots on the back, these systems run pretty cool, if you wanted to you could probably unplug the fan

Cool kit!
Great for moms & grandmoms!
But waaaaaay too expensive for the power.
And the power brick is as big as the case!
At least it could be built-in (somehow),
or the 2 units could be attachable/stackable,
so the only thing outside is the power cord.
Love this stuff, any way!

if you take a practical A+ exam you better have one

Doesn't matter because the A+ Cert is useless. No one asks for it, The MSCE stuff is useful though.

CMOS is the main piece that is vulnerable to static discharge. Typically you won't "fry" the motherboard, you'll just screw up the CMOS.

does it come with cables that come when you buy pico-itx alone?

The Pico comes with a DVI out cable which isn't big at all. This ARTIGO case doesn't support it but you can always drill a few more holes.
