  • someday, I would like to experience this.

  • i want this

  • so you can afford some time in zero g, but you cant buy a proper recording software?

  • this is not 0 gravity for he falls down. it is though, low gravity

  • @vivaburritos Their is no such thing as zero gravity. Gravity holds everything together. Scientists like the term "weightlessness" or "microgravity".

  • @vivaburritos He fell down because they went over to normal gravity again, smartass.

  • Can someone please tell me the winning numbers to the lottery so I can take my family on a zero g flight? or even space!

  • is this in space?

  • @EkANNONMUSIC

No, this is one of the NASA "Vomit Comets", used to simulate microgravity for astronaut training.

It is a Boeing 727 jet that flies in a parabolic path (i.e. huge drops), thus simulating the "zero-g" environment or weightlessness of space.

  • LOL the best is pushing 5

  • keep pressing 4 what guy get anal :x

  • @Karolukaz How do you know how to do this lol

  • Keep pressing 8, oh oh oh oh oh oh oh :L

  • I see alot of complications of how this works, to simplify it for the less academic people like me. Plane goes down very fast, you stay where you are and "float" plane goes back up to maintain altitude, You fell very heavy and there is a larger downward force acting upon you

  • Man handling has a whole new meaning

  • @sofnsable

    hahhahah

  • how does the body react to zero gravity particularly the heart?

  • @leNOIRfae: Zero G would mean less work for the human heart. Exactly how much less I couldn't say.

  • @SpecialEdward121 But your bones would be severely weakened, and muscles would be really weak and elastic if you are in Zero-G for a long period of time.

  • @Villaking1337: Yeah, I was speaking strictly about short term tourist grade exposure. With regards to long term exposure you make an excellent point. A person returning to normal G after a few weeks of zero G would definitely experience elevated stress on thier cardio system.

  • @Villaking1337: Sorry, got lost on the cardio thing. Bone density loss would also occur. Bone, muscle & cardio, you make a good point in all three cases.

  • no, he is saying "Feet Down!" so the people know to get their feet down in preparation for becoming 'heavy' again. Rather messy when they recover and someone is floating upside down at that time!

  • sounds like freefall to me Sorry ^.^

  • They free fall in the airplane on the way up as well as when they are coming down. Like some roller coaster hills, you feel up off the seat going up, over, and down the hill.

  • @DIME10NASA

sry bro but nasa wont take u in... u are not free falling on the way up, actuly u experience a higher g force then just the gravity on the way up... u get the weightless enviorment cuz the plane is loosing altitude at the same speed u would fall...

  • Sorry back to you. You are a little out of sync.

High-g's happen when the plane stops following the parabolic path and starts to recover. It is still going down but starts recovering from the dive and the nose gradually comes up to horizontal then starts going up again. The high-g continues until the plane is pointing up about 45 degrees or so when it starts following the NEXT parabolic "up and over". SEE NEXT REPLY.

  • Imagine a person throwing a ball to another person. The ball goes up then down. Imagine an airplane appears around the ball just after the person releases it. The airplane then flies up and down with the ball. To a person in the airplane, the ball would appear to float in mid-air.

This is what happens with the parabolic airplanes. The plane 'throws' the people in the air after the pullout, then flies up and down with the people.

  • man this looks like fun. too bad it's expensive...

  • people inside aren't really in a gravity less environment. Gravity is still pulling the down, they're still being pulled down by gravity, but just faster then gravity can pull them down. So they're basically free falling inside the plane.

  • this is my lifelong dream

  • same :3

  • @SydiANDGrace * once done*

DAMNIT, NOW I WANT TO GO TO THE MOON!!!!!!

  • how does this work?

  • the aircraft climbs to very high altitudes the freefaflls, because the objects and people insde fall at the same rate as the aircraft they expericence zero-g

  • Freefall in the atmosphere should work basically identically to freefall in orbit, the latter just has the advantage of not smashing into the ground if you do it longer than half a minute.

  • see my comments I made a few minutes ago on this same video.

basically the airplane flies around the people as they 'fall' up then down.

NOT just downward. Like a ball thrown in the air.

  • Yes it was done on Mythbusters Aswell if you have ever seen that :-)

  • @TKproductions93 Oh.. I`ve seen that before... it`s, when they are testing moon myth. =D

  • i think this is the NASA aircraft which looks like a conventional bombardier crj-900?

  • NASA used to have converted KC-135s until 2004, now they use a converted C-9 Skytrain II

  • that wud be amazing :|

  • i picture zero gravity like swiming in the water

  • But with air. :P

  • Wow, i don't know where that is (but if it's not space), i'd laugh if they could turn gravity on and off. So you could think of many things. For eg, a guy is attempting a backflip and half-way through it, they put gravity on as a prank and he smacks his head ROFLMAO LOL!

  • how many years is it goin to take to master the training to an astronaut

  • Cool

  • cool, but gross if you think about it in zero g's, where does the sperm go if some leaks?? (O_o)

  • can you say home made hair gel?!?!?! O.o

  • wtf has that got to do with anything? (O_o)"

  • Idk why would you just let it go to waste?? O.O

  • this is my last post, saying; you're weird. And you said something completely off-topic, just retarded.

  • hehe Hey your the one that said what would happen if it leaked out but, idk I like saying weird stuff... you should try it, it's kinda funny when you see peoples reactions...(for the record I'm not weird. only when I try to be)

  • nvm i just got the rest, it was jumbled (probably my brain) and that's why i was lyk wtf, now i'm lyk ohhhhhh kk, gotya. nvm now cya.

  • cya

  • it would be like living in a snow globe

  • sort of, but as i said if you turn the gravity back on normal, you fall at 9.8m/s/s unlike in a snow globe, it's in water and those are really small particles.

  • same, it would just take 10 times more work to fuck a bitch.

  • @pumpla123 It would probably be quieter... XD

  • @zerotankor haha yes, u have a point there :D

  • you say lol like an cigg but it wtf?

  • what the fuck dude, what you said doesnt make any sense at all

  • no all i say is wtf did you just say?

  • Ur was wrong, it's not by an elevator! It's by an aircraft what fly up really high and just falling down.. And then u get no gravity. It's like parachute, but safe inside that plane and without and parachute.. Dont know excatly how to explain, i cant tell u good in english. :/

  • Yes I know it is while an aircraft falls but my original idea to use an elevator would work just as good.

  • Yeah it does, but how to brake the whole thing? Except crasch into the ground? :S Well.. It's not as much space into an elevator as in the plane, and u must build a bigger building then the worlds biggest right now! Or u wont stay up for 30 seconds or something... I think this plane is going like.. around the atmosphere. :)

  • The elevator can slow down at a slow speed to prevent crashing but ya I guess it would have to be very tall and wide to prevent it from falling over

  • nope man, its done while an aircraft is stalling n it falls down n attains zero gravity. btw, i just did this today , as a pilot. i wasnt in the bay area playing around like these, i was the pilot of my tiny plane. fuck it was so fun. thankgod, i dint vomit in the end. hehehehehe

  • Yeah, it's a great feeling, isn't it?

  • is that done while some giant elevator is free falling?

  • LOL

  • It's not even an aricraft falling, this is called "parabolic flight" as the plane flies down, but not free falling.

  • It shuts its engine of, then start it again.. Well, it's a special made aircraft..

  • @Punniabi But not into an elavator you moron...
