I went to 3 of their shows during this tour. I was at this one....Just incredible. He had the whole audience singing. I loved how he smiled and loved hearing it.
If he changed the way he sang he could get his voice to sound the same as it used to be back in 2000. He is forcing his voice to try to sing the way he used to. I bet if he took a different approach he would sing much better and not damage his voice.
Scott was an awesome singer back in his prime, but its clear he has lost it, every note he tries to hit seems to be a struggle for him. Its a shame that he had to put his body through so much punishment resulting him losing his edge. The reunion of Creed seems forced, im a dedicated AB fan and that band just seem on a whole new level even though the band has three members of Creed. Just let it go boys and leave Creed as a fond memory.
He's amazing for after all he's been through. If you look at some singers, like Phil Anselmo, after drugs and stuff have totally ruined their voices, as well as the stress and even being out of the game for a while. If you sing for a long time you start to loose your touch. Look at Bruce Dickenson from Iron Maiden, he still sounds great, but the epicness isn't their anymore. He is still quite amazing.
You know, maybe he wasn't the most popular guy in the world, and he doesn't sing that great anymore thanks to the surgery on his neck but you can look at his face and tell he's giving you every bit of what he's got left. So if you're going to hate on him, get off his damn video. He's going out of his way to give you a show, the least you could do is not be a bunch of pricks about it.

i have a bonus disk wheni bought the full circle album. its a dvd on the tour. scott said their pitsburgh performance was a"2 hour adrenaline rush". well thats easy to tell seeing their play of bullets. he went CRRRAZY throughout the whole song WOOT CREED FTW!!!!!!!!!
it must be stressful and frustrating for Scott struggling with these songs that he used to destroy night after night. I feel for the guy but i think they should not tour when he is well below his best

Yea, Stapp's voice is definitely worse than it was before. And hatePAD, I'm not meaning to argue, but if those things (walking around and nodding to the crowd while singing) affect his vocal performance that much (which they don't) then he should learn to stand in one place so that he can hit the proper pitches.

Creed used to be my favorite band when I was a preteen in the 90s- but Scott has always been one of the most tone deaf singers I've ever heard- and I thought so even then. The only famous singer can think of that is even worse is Tom Delonge.

I saw them about a month back in SLC and I gotta say I was nervous to hear stapp after this long, but If not better, he is just as bit damn awesome back in the day. He was absolutely amazing.
I was at the Florida concert just this week and it was the BEST show I ever saw. Mark smiled the whole show ear to ear I was right in the pit in front of him. He was amazing playing the solos in the new songs. He ripped all night.
Stapp has always been off key live, but wow, he's topping even himself on this tour. And can't hit the high notes anymore, probably why they got the 2nd guitarist who can do the background vocals.
I was in attendance in Columbus, it was alright, I am just not a fan of Stapp's vocals, however, Tremonti, Marshall and Phillips are AMAZING! I'm more of an Alter Bridge follower!
I saw them in Indy. Stapp sounds much better when you are actually there. I think his voice gets mixed in with the rest so it's not as obvious when he messes up. I wouldn't call him a weak link though. I'd give him probably a B-/C+ on vocals, but he really does have a great stage presence. He knows how to work a crowd.

Scotts voice is lots better here than on some other vids I've seen of him after Creed broke up... great to see them again after all those years! I hope they'll come to Europe within the next one or two years! =)
It's okay about not hitting some notes, I mean hell, I'm sure he's been doing A LOT of singing over the past couple of months, and he just has to get back into it, but my only thing is that his tone is different. He doesn't have that rasp like he use to, it's just like too clean for this type of stuff.

Awesome video! Great quality! I was much further in the back, and my videos didn't turn out so well. But what an AWESOME concert! It made me SO happy to see Creed back together and rockin out like old times!! I saw them 7 years ago on the Weathered tour, and I have to say this was a MUCH better concert, it seems to me as though they've regained the chemistry that made them work so well.
Stapp's voice has been shot since the Weathered tour. He had nodules in his throat and a tumor inside his sternum and per Scott was "pressured to sing through it." Just listen to their Olympic performances. I've followed, Creed, Stapp, AB from the beginning, and all of these comparisons of Kennedy to Stapp are idiotic. Kennedy has a 5 octave range. Whether that makes him a better lead singer is incredibly subjective. Even the doors say Stapp sounds (sounded) exactly like Jim Morrison, himself.
It's sad how much Stapp's lost, but he's bringing the energy and improvising on the notes he doesn't hit. Clearly, Kennedy would blow his doors off in a live performance. The beauty of studio recordings is they will record a lyric 20 times until they get the gem. Guaranteed the album will have Stapp hitting those high notes, listen to his solo album. And to the idiots who post bullshit about Stapp or Creed; Why watch their videos if you don't like them? Go watch something you DO like and STFU!
Myles can kave a 5 octave voval range but he doesn't have even 1/8th stage presence and passion of Stapp, or even more, the Chemistry Tremonti and Stapp have together.
I love Alter Bridge too but Creed is special. They will go down as one of the Ultimate bands when its all said and done.

@lifeofchicken86 hes still good and everything but one thing people dont know is that you can actually forget how to sing good after few years of not singing and thats what happened, before stapp was a singer for along time and he started a band and we all know that is creed, he then made 3 excellent albums, then he quit for while and look what happened but in his later songs he got better and better and better just give him time thats all he needs and thats all he asks ya know

Creed used to be my favorite band when I was a preteen in the 90s- but Scott has always been one of the most tone deaf singers I've ever heard- and I thought so even then. The only famous singer can think of that is even worse is Tom Delonge.

I mean this in a friendly way... but... scott should get a few vocal lessons, he's trynig to sing notes he can't hit easily anymore, he's not 25 anymore.... he needs some vocal lessons, and try singing in a lower pitch....

I think I've spent my past week watching every creed video I could find.... What you said is right. Old and spent, for some reason they decided to get their act together a little late, no pun intended...
I hate that he lost his edge. Creed used to be so amazing live. And I regret saying this but most of creeds new album is just not that great, I mean it's ok but nothing compared to the power of human clay, or the sound of weathered.

absolutely. i saw them 7 yrs ago in grand rapids, MI and Stapp was phenomenal. he's just old and spent now. what a shame, i don't know how the rest of the band can stand to listen to him sing now. honestly, why would anyone waste their money to go see them now...

I was at the Florida concert just this week and it was the BEST show I ever saw. Mark smiled the whole show ear to ear I was right in the pit in front of him. He was amazing playing the solos in the new songs. He ripped all night.

I was in attendance in Columbus, it was alright, I am just not a fan of Stapp's vocals, however, Tremonti, Marshall and Phillips are AMAZING! I'm more of an Alter Bridge follower!

I saw them in Indy. Stapp sounds much better when you are actually there. I think his voice gets mixed in with the rest so it's not as obvious when he messes up. I wouldn't call him a weak link though. I'd give him probably a B-/C+ on vocals, but he really does have a great stage presence. He knows how to work a crowd.

I just saw them in VA Nisaan Pavillion and they kicked some serious ass. These video post make Scott sound bad but trust me go to the show and you will hear different.

I have noticed there are like 8 user names that post on every creed video something negative. obviously its being done on purpose not as any real comment about a video. anyone who is a singer knows the vocal cords have to be built up to do this amount of singing he has been doing since feb with making album now touring. It's okay about not hitting some notes, I mean hell, I'm sure he's been doing A LOT of singing over the past couple of months, and he just has to get back into it, but my only thing is that his tone is different. He doesn't have that rasp like he use to, it's just like too clean for this type of stuff.

It's amazingly good. I don't really get all this hatred towards scott stapp. People are mentally unstable that's for sure.
But they should really look at themselfs and maybe think about how messed up their lifes are and maybe do something about it, if they are so pathetic and weak that they have to trashtalk someone online simply because they don't like their music / voice or if they are just jealous.

I watch them at SPAC in NY and they were really good. Stapp was jumping around and singing his heart out and it never sounded like this.. Maybe it sounds a little bad cause they are so close to the from so it does not sound as good.

And sorry but also stage presence is not great, all the other lads in the band look good together and he looks like a guest,they have to work on it... a lot!
Alter Bridge as band are much more tighter and Kennedy does such an amazing job.
These guys are pro musicians...you cant go on stage and not be able to sing your songs especially for a come back like this

Awesome video! Great quality! I was much further in the back, and my videos didn't turn out so well. But what an AWESOME concert! It made me SO happy to see Creed back together and rockin out like old times!! I saw them 7 years ago on the Weathered tour, and I have to say this was a MUCH better concert, it seems to me as though they've regained the chemistry that made them work so well.

Stapp's voice has been shot since the Weathered tour. He had nodules in his throat and a tumor inside his sternum and per Scott was "pressured to sing through it." Just listen to their Olympic performances. I've followed, Creed, Stapp, AB from the beginning, and all of these comparisons of Kennedy to Stapp are idiotic. Kennedy has a 5 octave range. Whether that makes him a better lead singer is incredibly subjective. Even the doors say Stapp sounds (sounded) exactly like Jim Morrison, himself.

It's sad how much Stapp's lost, but he's bringing the energy and improvising on the notes he doesn't hit. Clearly, Kennedy would blow his doors off in a live performance. The beauty of studio recordings is they will record a lyric 20 times until they get the gem. Guaranteed the album will have Stapp hitting those high notes, listen to his solo album. And to the idiots who post bullshit about Stapp or Creed; Why watch their videos if you don't like them? Go watch something you DO like and STFU!

Myles can kave a 5 octave voval range but he doesn't have even 1/8th stage presence and passion of Stapp, or even more, the Chemistry Tremonti and Stapp have together.
I love Alter Bridge too but Creed is special. They will go down as one of the Ultimate bands when its all said and done.
