  • Crash is on 2:30

  • @Tutorial4youMaker - Yes :( there is a HD version of this, link at the top of the video.

  • That sucks... Poor miata

  • Nice handling on your part, there was nothing you could of done!

  • great driving...a shame u got a spinner....but thats racing

  • Which game is this? available on PC?

  • @douma4000 - LOL, it's real life i'm afraid! which means no RESET button and to get your car back to normal costs about the same as a High End gaming PC! .. thanks for watching :)

  • Great video - front, rear, and driver cams, instruments, track map and lap times all in one.

  • Man, that sucks... And it wasn't even your fault.

Well, glad you're ok, and the car probably could be fixed :)

  • Nice yatas!

  • crash @ 2:30

  • @Fuchs1337 I was content watching the whole thing. Nothing like Miata racing!

  • Generally I find the best thing to do when a car spins in front is to aim for it, normally by the time you get to it it won't be where you've aimed. Takes some bravery though

  • @harvestfishing - I agree 100% and indeed is my advice(as a driver coach) to my drivers. The reasons I didn't on this occasions was that a) there was loads of concrete run-off on the left and b) you're on the limit as you turn into the the left-hander of those esses all the way through so to tighten the lock on the right-hander would have been very tricky.

  • @MaxxUK - Another piece of advice I give all drivers as any instructor/coach would and is in about every book on circuit racing "if you spin, both feet in" which means clutch and brake. The driver in this case didn't and essentially rolled at speed backwards off the circuit and into my path.

  • Above video response from me is a much higher quality (720p) HD version of this video.

  • damn that cars hooked up with all those airplane switches hahaha

  • You seem to have a subscription on not so near misses. Better luck next races zandvoort was damage free so here you go.

  • this just shows the amazing reaction times needed to be a top driver... it could have been much worse if Malcolm hadn't guided the car to the left... it looked very slippy, so any bigger wheel turn could have been VERY severe damage! Again, well done malcolm... glad you survived again unhurt!!

  • Thanks for your comment Bobby. If i'd turned more to the left I would have been joing the marshals in their marshal box :)

  • Ouch, I say that they should make women race drivers do a "double AARDS" test or something. They just lack the necessary skills and coordination.

  • The crash was caused by ma5da mx5 championships star female driver Jenny "hit anything that moves" Garrett punting the back of car 72 in a flat out bend. I spun, go figure. Prefferred my car with a boot but what the hell.

  • Yes, sorry I couldn't miss you Andrew, couldn't have gone any further to the left and survived, just glad it was your boot and not your drivers' door.

  • Just been editing the race 2 video (up soon). I hadn't realised it was you in the Red car after seeing you in Orange last year (I know, Orange is so 2008 :)). Anyway, we had some good dicing in race 2.

  • What a 'mare mate - you had nowhere to go !

  • For those that just want to see the crash and not the preceeding lap, it at 2:13 (just click the time to take you straight there)
